I loved Ella Enchanted! Of course, the only time I've ever seen it was at a dingy motel in mid-eastern PA after walking for 24 hours straight and collapsing exhausted. Also, I hadn't had cable in two months and had forgotten what good television could be like. I also thought "The Avengers" was really good too, to show you what state of mind I was in.

I read a book of Ella Enchanted, but never saw the film. Might see if I can dig it out. _________________ He who does not eat cheese will go mad. ~ French proverb.

I read the book, saw the film, and don't want to see it again... (I wouldn't want to read it again, but not cuz it wasn't good, but cuz I generally don't re-read things unless I really liked them) _________________ Dubbed Cube by Asa

I beg you not to if you've read the book. It kills it. ><;
Well, it might just be me actually. See, it's something of a favorite around my house. We grew up reading it, and now that we're older, we re-read it regularly. I think my interval was about once every two years - until we lost our copy that is. _________________ Keeper of Gaia and all the books on Earthsong

Ella Enchanted... was only good for one reason: Her <3
Personally, I thought Stardust was a better movie. I don't know what it is, but the thought of Robert DeNiro playing as a cross-dressing sky pirate just ... enchants me.
In other news: I watched Aladdin recently. I LOVE THAT MOVIE!!
I love it ;_;
It has recently become my obsession of fun things.
I even have a gal who told me in an unrelated matter that Jasmine was her childhood heroine.

I've always felt a very close personal connection to Aladdin.
Like he, I was also born into unfortunately austere circumstances.
Like he, I also have amazing hair.
Like he, I also look good in poofy pants and a vest.
Like he, I've also had a monkey since my youth named Abu (though mine is a stuffed animal).
Like he, I've always struggled with my self-value and what others view me as.
Like he, I've also struggled with personal honesty to inflate that value as a result.
Like he, I've always felt as if I was worth more than an initial appraisal would provide.
And like he, I love chicks with a freakin' ripped-out-of-it's-mind tiger.
And I also think flying Carpets are cool.
... And that is Tomato.
XD
Not like you needed a complete evaluation of my life as compared to Aladdin, but It was still stupidly fun _________________ :: I'm six foot four, an all-American guy, and handsome and talented as well! :: |

Anyone seen Harvey?
It's an old one starring Jimmy Stewart about a guy who's best friend is a 6'3.5" invisble white rabbit named Harvey.
I stink at reviews, but it's funny, you guys seriously have to see it if you haven't already. _________________ Keeper of Gaia and all the books on Earthsong

Nobody has mentioned the greatness of Pixar?! Pixar is NOT Disney! Toy Story? Finding Nemo? EDNA MODE?! Oops, I mean, the Incredibles?
I can't wait for Wall-E...why can't it be June right now? *weeps*
Speaking of Anne Hathaway, Devil Wears Prada was both nutritious and delicious IMHO...gotta love the moral at the end-get out while you can!
The old Star Wars movies are awesome-I don't agree with the fanbase community that the prequels absolutely sucked, though(minus the obvious let's-get-as-many-of-the-old-chars-in-there-and-screw-plausibilty parts)-I like ANH the least, actually. The Death Star Battle always bored the heck out of me. ESB and ROTJ, though? So good. I want to be the captain of the medical frigate.
I also like Life is Beautiful. You can't beat Life in any way.
Amélie is a beautiful movie, btw. _________________ I love children...but I could never eat a whole one.

Harvey? *looks it up* nope... never seen it, I want to now... ^__^
On the line of ToyStory, ChickenRun was also good, and I liked the old StarWars movies, never seen the new ones, no-one has ever made them sound good enough to go and get them from the library. _________________ Dubbed Cube by Asa

Chicken Run was so....stupid. *flinches* It was!!
Aladdin scared me as a kid...>.>;; Donno know why...but it did.
but then again, in Homeward Bound, when the kitty fell of the waterfall I'd hide behind a chair and try not to cry, no matter how many times my brothers said she wasn't dead. XD _________________ Fall down seven times, get up eight. --Japanese Proverb

Chicken Run was funny, and I haven't watched it enough for the jokes to get old, so... for a G rated movie, it was good.
I liked Aladdin, but my sister was obsessed and watched it at least 12 times in one month, so, I guess all I can say is.... I haven't seen it since. _________________ Dubbed Cube by Asa
