Just to bring up a book and an author I read recently, see if anyone else is into it..
Has anyone read Clay, by David Almond? Ever since I read Skellig in my sixth grade class I've loved his books, and while I really didn't like his second to last book I thought Clay, his most recent, was really good. Probably one of his creepiest. I dunno, anyone know what I'm talking about? _________________ If you're reading this, you haven't quite made it to the next post. |

Sorry to be awkward but I'm having issues with finding a copy of His Majesty's Dragon, I've ordered it but the earliest it'll arrive is the 8th of May. Could we pospone the start date please? _________________ Britland as dubbed by AsA

Darn it! I'm in Rome May 8th through the 18th...any suggestions? I guess you need to start without me. _________________ Fall down seven times, get up eight. --Japanese Proverb

Mine came in today; I'll start reading soon... _________________ The Keeper of Gwen's temper/K'thonya's tastes,

I don't think I have money to buy the book atm, New York ate all my extra cash!
I love the idea for this thread though _________________ If you're reading this, you haven't quite made it to the next post. |

Well, tell you what, since people are having trouble getting it, let's put the date back a week, shall we? That'd make it May 11. _________________ Keeper of The Remnant Minuon (cognomen Lucy, the Eaten One) and the Emissary Caeli |

Apologies, but I may not be able to participate in this round as my local Keibundo only had Book 4 in English, and I couldn't see any copies in Japanese. I'll try and see if I can track it down in the next couple of days, but if I can't find it by the end of the week, I'm afraid I may have to sit His Majesty's Dragon out. |

I've seen it around, but never read it. Creepy is it? I just thought it sounded kinda boring. . .No one I know has read it, but if that's a suggestion from you, I'll check it out. =] _________________ Keeper of Gaia and all the books on Earthsong

I was at the library yesterday, and forgot to see if they had it! So I dragged my friends to the smaller one near my house and ordered it. I'll have my little hands on a copy tomorrow. =3 _________________ Keeper of Gaia and all the books on Earthsong
