The New Design

As far as the Forum's look goes, I just like the buttons. The green is nice, but I like the purplish blue we had last time too, so it’s a toss up for me.

The real site looks wonderful. I'm not sure about the background, since it kind of looks like the pattern on someone's couch. But it works pretty well, all things considered.

Definitely love the new logo. Not having the site spread out over the whole screen is a bummer for a wide screen like mine, but I like the brown/gold borders on the forum, so that evens it out a little.

I also want the forum titles back. Those were fun.

Though the new look has some teething troubles, compared to some of the other sites and forums I've seen, we're high class, so I'm not complaining.

We have shields on our buttons! How cool is that!

Well, they are kind of small...

Still, I looked at them and saw swords. Then again, I read too many Drizzt books, and their 'logo' is two crossed scimitars that look pretty similar to ones the button, so I'm used to it.

The background-repeat property is really handy. And just so you'll know, it's got five possible values:

repeat: makes it repeat as normal.
no-repeat: makes it display only once.
repeat-x: makes it repeat horizontally but not vertically
repeat-y: makes it repeat vertically but not horizontally

And the last one is "inherit" which is rarely used and just says "do the same thing as your parent element".

I am a D&D player, 'tis true. And I'm proud of it!

Haven't picked up the 4th edition rules yet. I should take a look and see if they're worth it.

I don't play DnD, though I've heard about it a lot... and I could tell they were swords and shields, which is cool.
