So! Brand new forum, eh? .... *sigh*
I apologise for the loss of the old one - it was out of my hands. And sadly my only back up is so old that there's really no point in restoring it.
So instead we get to start anew and while it's unfortunate that we've lost a lot of our history with the demise of the old, let's see if we can raise a phoenix from the ashes, eh?
That being said, there'll probably be a few changes as to how it's set up and run. I'll restore the various categories as needed - some won't be coming back, such as the pwnage section, it can just go with Gen.Disc. But that's neither here nor there.
I look forward to getting back in touch with you all!

Well, I'm sad to see the old forum go. There were some good bits of stuff in there that I'd have liked to keep. In future, maybe do backups more often? Say, once a month.
On the other hand, I'm really really happy to see a functioning forum back in place! I've missed it so much!! _________________ Keeper of The Remnant Minuon (cognomen Lucy, the Eaten One) and the Emissary Caeli |

Hear, hear! You have no idea how often I checked to see if the forum was back yet. It's good to be home.
As for the old forum, there's a chance an internet archive site backed it up? The wayback machine might have, though it takes months for its crawls to show up on the site. I think I'll keep looking, but even if it's not to be found, that's okay. What's important is that Earthsong and the forum are still alive. ^_^ |

| Well, I'm actually a new user that kinda lurked here in the past. I'm glad to see you getting things back up and running. I think this time around I'll de-lurk and actually participate in the community considering Earthsong might just be my favorite webcomic. |

Alas! I checked the Wayback machine, and there's nothing there. Google Cache has a bunch of stuff, but who knows how long it'll be around? _________________ Keeper of The Remnant Minuon (cognomen Lucy, the Eaten One) and the Emissary Caeli |

Forum? *poke* FORUM YAY!
I missed you guys. And I don't mind if it's a new forum or not (personally I think this one is a lot prettier.) I'm just glad we have one.
/Edit and now I don't have a pathetically low post count compared to everyone else. |

Oh, but you will soon.
Tin, like I said, the wayback machine might have stuff, but we won't know for a few months. Google Cache gave me trouble....maybe I just don't know how to use it properly. |

How old is so old, Lady?
For things like the RP sections in particular, not to mention Willow Theories et al, even a backup a year or more out of date would be far better than nothing at all... _________________ Keeper of Tristram's rings, and Felucca's very expressive ears. |

| I very nearly called myself Tamtam, but decided that it'd be better to stick with the name everyone's familiar with. ^_^ |

After checking daily, I'm glad to see a forum up again. For missing the old one... nothing can be done other than making a better new one!
AND I'm with TheBritishInvasion when is comes to post counts.
Nice to be back and see familiar usernames.
I was wondering where to post this question, I figured this was relatively appropriate: Do we keep old keeperships (to those who remember) or should we start that over as well? _________________ Dubbed Cube by Asa

Hrm, good question about the keeperships, the Lady referred to this forum as 'rising out of the ashes' so perhaps new keeperships are a good idea, on the other hand everyone has chosen the same username as before.
I guess if people are particulary attached to theirs then they should keep it, I don't mind too much. _________________ Britland as dubbed by AsA
