I'm not sure if I should be happy that the new bot isn't selling porn, or sad that this means another site got through the filter. Only one post though, which is good.

Well...I mean, I would much prefer someone offering me a credit card, than somebody posting up that garbage that was being slapped across our forums.

It's definitely a step toward the right end, though!

Maybe there's a way to disable all bbcode in a post of someone who has less than 10 posts?

Sadly, I don't yet have internet access at my new place (I'm at my parents checking the forum right now) so it'll have to wait until I get back from the cottage and HOPEFULLY have internet by then. Either that or I'll have to set up my ftp program on my parent computer.

In the meantime, thanks for all your hard work Mods! And apologies to those who are being accidentally exposed to this filth.

Anyhow, I was all set and ready to install this new mod... but it requires something to do with SQL... and I just DON'T understand what I need to do to get this to work. I tried to install phpmyadmin to do so, but it's not particularly user friendly and their wiki assumes that you've got x number of years programming experience (I have to write my OWN setup script? What??? ) .

So... I don't think it's gonna happen. Unless there's some way for someone to do this all FOR me, which I don't think there is.

We're all just going to have to remain ever vigilant against these spambots and spampersons. Sorry all.
