Giving Thanks

To all of those of us in the United States, to all of our friends around the world, to all those with families and without, I want to say to you one thing, unilaterally:

I am grateful and thankful beyond my capacity for words for the opportunity to belong to such a community of intelligent, wise, compassionate, thoughtful, and amazingly diverse, interesting people. You honor me by including me among your number, and I do without question consider every one of you my friends. Thank you for being you.

Only the poor Canadian who doesn't get any turkey today is here to read this... for now. In fact belated Thanksgiving greetings are like turkey leftovers - they're just as awesome the next day!

Funnily enough, the British expat in Norway is getting belated turkey next week! I hope all my friends across the pond had a lovely day full of family and food and ... er... fanksgiving? I'm sorry.
