I always forget about NaNo. I think I might write something on paper. I'm not going to try and meet the deadline, but I will be writing a novel this month. =)
Today I was informed that I have a job interview tomorrow! Yay! What's funny is that it's at a place I applied at just because I figured "Hey, I'm here, why not?"
Today my computer is alive again! ^__^ _________________ Keeper of Gaia and all the books on Earthsong

Today, well yesterday but I haven't been to sleep yet, I got a letter from the council asking for the council tax they'd told me I didn't have to pay. And by asking I mean threatening dire consequences such as suspending bank accounts if I didn't. Tshhh, de dah, de day.
Cant address it tomorrow - which is to say today, but again haven't been to sleep yet. Got lots of classes today. Probably wouldn't be wise to go in there all fire and ice anyway. ^_^
Try to keep my opinion of companies and my opinion of the people working for them separate.
When the criteria of your dislike is broad enough; a company, a social process - a faceless silhouette; anyone can stand behind it. It doesn't have to be personal. And inevitably 'anyone' ends up doing so whether they want to or not. It's easier to be annoyed with a given individual when you're annoyed with the context.
Objectives - find out what's going on, get them to run the documents they said they ran last time, get a receipt/some form of signed document that says they've done so in preparation for it going to court.
Gneh.
Let's see, happy things.... Oh I've arranged for a surveyor to come round and see about sticking some form of loft insulation in. Saw a neat thermal picture of the city too. _________________ Never forget,

Today I ate left-over Halloween candy. Of which there is a lot, since I didn't get a single trick-or-treater. >.< _________________ Keeper of The Remnant Minuon (cognomen Lucy, the Eaten One) and the Emissary Caeli |

Yesterday I majorly messed up at work - it's almost worse that they let it go with a warning; I would have preferred to pay for it, just to end it. Also yesterday, I inspired my mother to say I was reliable in my unreliability, which, while true, is still disappointing. So yesterday was iffy.
Today is senior portraits day! I'm a bit nervous about what to do with my hair, but I guess it'll work out. And I voted, that was important too. _________________ Self-styled Forum Grandmother, because I hand out nicknames and hugs whether you want them or not. ^_^

Today I had a terrible lab wrestling with Excel, my friend was having a bad day so she was whinging about little things (I'll admit it got annoying, but that didn't stop me prodding buttock at my other friend when he had a go) and my lung hurts.
On the plus side I am home early which gives me chance to clean the flat, I also have lots of Halloween sweeties left over and a delicious recipe for pumpkin and sweetcorn soup and I'm going home in three sleeps! Whee! _________________ He who does not eat cheese will go mad. ~ French proverb.

Today I remembered I have an exam tomorrow. The day suddenly took a downward turn... _________________ Self-styled Forum Grandmother, because I hand out nicknames and hugs whether you want them or not. ^_^

Today I skipped four hours of classes. Have to remember to fill in a sickness form to maintain my attendance record. <_<
Today stayed home most of the day, drank coffee, killed aliens.
Today went to an AI lecture and a tutorial. These were good classes. Well maybe not so much the tutorial but the AI lecture was awesome. It's always fun seeing how these things get applied to the real world. ^_^
Today I'm feeling significantly jollified. Is jollified a word? The spell-checker says, 'no.' It may be the coffee, it may be the sloth, it may be the fact that I've eaten at least two meals today and got a solid six hours sleep.

Busy day today. Voted, hung out with a friend, worked on a skit for Spanish, developed film in Photo, went to the library, had a job interview, now to work on an essay . . .
The job interview went well. It was a preliminary thing. They're going to call me back for an interview with the DM sometime. _________________ Keeper of Gaia and all the books on Earthsong

Today has not been a great day. Today has been one of those days filled with little annoyances. Things that are only mildly irritating on their own but when there are lots of them, one after the other, they build up into a bad day.
I think I've managed to break the cycle now because I had a good riding lesson and I made a new friend.
He had his first riding lesson at the club today and we started talking, after the lesson we went on a hunt for a local tack shop that I've never been able to find. We did manage to find it and then when we were getting the bus home he asked if I have a boyfriend...
Not quite sure if he was just making conversation or if he genuinely wanted to know. Maybe I’ll find out at the next lesson. _________________ Britland as dubbed by AsA

Today I got bombarded with a bajillion little tasks, all of which I accomplished, but which left me no time for the more complicated tasks that make up my primary job. >.<; _________________ Keeper of The Remnant Minuon (cognomen Lucy, the Eaten One) and the Emissary Caeli |

Yesterday I stayed home to do some work but my internet collapsed. So I thought "ok, I'll just clean the flat some more" but the water was shut off. So I thought "ok, I'll make some delicious soup" but I've lost my purse so I can't buy stuff for soup! Dagnabbit! So I ended up watching copious Firefly and eating cupboard stew.
Today I still can't find my purse. This is concerning me now. _________________ He who does not eat cheese will go mad. ~ French proverb.

Yesterday's exam was about what it was for the first exam, which is to say 'okay', but not as good as I could have done. Last time my excuse was missing half the classes, this time I didn't have an excuse. I expect a high B, which is much less than I should be getting. *scowl* Oh well.
Deadlines looming and yet to work on:
Second draft term paper
First stage research report
Two Hebrew essays
One-page Religions essay
Register for classes
Graduation application

Today I had a job interview.
Today I'm rather annoyed because I've realized just how much I dislike the concept of "selling myself" to an interviewer--or on an application, because they tell me to do the same thing when I apply for college. Commercialism can just get over it, I'm not going to exaggerate silly 'accomplishments' to try and prove to a complete stranger that I'm the best thing since sliced bread.*
. . .
Today I think, once again, that I should have lived in the 1960's.
*Yeah, I know, it's how one gets a job; and jobs are very important because they provide money, which in turn provides for almost all things necessary to survival. It doesn't mean I have to like it, though. _________________ Keeper of Gaia and all the books on Earthsong

We'd hug you, Nu, but a manly fist of awesome seems more appropriate given your current ''fight the power'' sentiment.

The concept of ''money'' has become hideously corrupted such that you can make money purely by having money. We need to go back to basics and build back up again.
However, we have no idea how to go about doing this. _________________ You can't look dignified when you're having fun.
