EDIT.
Getting on.
For some reason, whenever I wanna play DDO i must install it. Everytime. I don't know why. i remember it did this when I first downloaded it and then one day there was magically a shortctu on desktop. No shortcut though. always gotta install this time around. For why? _________________ I can't remember....oh *le sigh* |

Are you using the right shortcut? It should be going to "dndlauncher.exe," not to "ddohigh.exe"...
Edit: Waaaaaaaaaait a minute. Are you just complaining that there's no shortcut on your desktop? Because the shortcut isn't the program... _________________ You can't look dignified when you're having fun.

Weird.
Good night's questing with Ax and a guy named Kierrak. We did the Xorian Cipher quest, which had many happy fun balls. It is wise not to molest the happy fun balls. Merely for brushing into one I was put under the effects of the spells Rage and Water Breathing, just in case there is a fish somewhere who seriously needs to have his fins kicked. The next one killed me on contact. I dare not even contemplate the possible results of taunting a happy fun ball.
After that we did The Pit on Hard difficulty, which took for freaking ever but netted us over 13,000 XP.
Then I went and quested a bit more with some random strangers, which went pretty well for once.
And now I am going to bed.
EDIT: Oh, and for our clerics -- Phinnian Barkbow is the guy in the harbor who wants Invasion Tokens, right? Well, if you get 25 of them, he'll give a Mace of Pure Awesome (or rather, a Scepter of Healing -- +4 Heavy Mace made of Flametouched Iron, with the properties Greater Devotion V and Greater Healing Lore). Similarly awesome goodies are available for other classes. Note that Phinnian Barkbow, unlike other collectables types, will only accept tokens from you ONCE.
In order to get the 25 Invasion Tokens, you'll need to run the quest "Invaders" over and over until you have enough. It's level 12, but a full party of level 9-10 chars can take it. I've done it (just once though -- it's absolutely chock full of beholders and demons of various sorts). Plus it has happy fun balls just like the Xorian Cipher. Brrrr. _________________ Keeper of The Remnant Minuon (cognomen Lucy, the Eaten One) and the Emissary Caeli |

Where exactly IS the Xorian Cipher quest? I've tried looking for it, but to no avail... _________________ Keeper of Zaebos' and Jormand's powers.

The Xorian Cipher is in House Jorasco at the top right of the map. Talk to Gatekeeper Chulkash. And note that it's a pretty tough quest -- not one you can solo very easily. _________________ Keeper of The Remnant Minuon (cognomen Lucy, the Eaten One) and the Emissary Caeli |

I was not online tonight. It was sad, but I couldn't really get on. I got kidnapped by some friends cause they said I'm gonna work myself to death if I don't have fun. So kidnapped. _________________ I can't remember....oh *le sigh* |

Miho, friends do terrible, terrible things. Kidnapping is the lest of it. I do hope you escape in time for next week.
I have a new character called “Aswing and a miss”. He is a monk, level one at the moment and has yet to finish the very first starting quest. I edited the first post I made on this thread, it now has a list of all the names of the forumites who play as well as their DDO names.
A question for all you forumites who have downloaded the game and made characters. Are we ever going to see you in game at all? Do not base your impressions of the game based on that one time you went questing with me, its not always that bad. _________________ "He gave you a life and you should cherish that treasure." - Benny
while Udina asked the usual inane civilian things that came about while under attack: "What's happening? Who is shooting at us? I'm squishy and not wearing armor and I'm a liability, get me to safety, etc.

It's the end of the week! And that means booting up the game in 5... 4... 3... 2... 1... _________________ You can't look dignified when you're having fun.

I might be a little late tonight; I'll be coming back from a party, and I don't know when it'll end. But I'll be there tonight! _________________ Keeper of Zaebos' and Jormand's powers.

I was on, but didn't see anyone else this evening. Though Tyris and Ax both put in appearances earlier. _________________ Keeper of The Remnant Minuon (cognomen Lucy, the Eaten One) and the Emissary Caeli |

Tin missed you by 17 min this morning. This was mostly due to a failed ousiders quest last night, I am not willing to go into the details just yet, the pain is too fresh in my mind. _________________ "He gave you a life and you should cherish that treasure." - Benny
