hmn, something just occured to me. Somewhere was stated that the planetary element of Gaia is iron. And some basic knowledge of biology tells us that almost all complex lifeforms (both botanical and zoological) contain at least trace elements of iron within their organizms.
So, unless Gaia is an exception - and seeing she is an alfa planet, and evidently much admired by all other planets, i sinceerly doubt that - that give us reasonble grounds to assume that an overwhelming majority of life upon planets, and not just the 'children' have planetary element within their bodies.
Where this is going is that, unless some special sideran mumbo - jumbo fixes it in a deus-ex-mahina manire, every character like say Ulkruz, who had not had the chance to ehrr... expunge the consumed matter since their last meal would hold at least some small amount of ES element within their bodies. I wonder if ES could use that to at least make it dificult to a mandragora thus afflicted in the coming confrontation...

I love this page but it seems to me that poor Earthsong is suffering some ill effects from this... she grayed up back on page 31 but she is definitely not taking this well... her manifest stone has darkened too... more purple than maroon...
oooh i'm so excited for the coming battle ^_^...
so i was thinking who would likely pair up against who in the upcoming battle and I got a few down that sound cool but not everyone has a partner...

Zaebos against Jormand (fire vs water)
Felluca against Neuria (they're both crazy ^_^)
Gwendolyn against Morgan (sight against sound)
Nanashi against Skogul (naturally)
K'thonya against Alyss (i dono... just seemed to fit)
Tengu against Ulkruz (again i dono)
(if this belongs elseware forgive me)
