If Eves are immortal, where (for example) is Gaia's?
Cus, yanno, I think she'd have a bit to say right now. _________________

Maybe they're like in a story I once read about Eldar farseers, crystalising as they age but remaining conscious. Or maybe they become part of the planet or something when they age. Who knows? ^_^
(We know who knows really. )
I wonder whether this means EmoVamp could drain her life force as an infinite source.... _________________ Never forget,

That sounds like an anime plot.
I wonder if I'd watch it. _________________ ...In accordance with the prophesy.

Immortal, as in Tolkien elf immortal. ie if nothing actively kills them, they stay alive indefinitely.
And I dunno, where IS Gaia's Eve?

So then, since Beluosus "actively" destroyed his surface, killed his children, etc. his Eve would actually be dead then. Unless, he brought her with I suppose...
And I'd imagine Gaia's Eve is on Earth, or that failing, in the universe somewhere.
Hmm, there's a thought. Can Eves ever leave their planet of origin? Or would it cause all sorts of catastrophe if they did?

"The Eve’s blood is entirely composed of the planet’s element, granting her powers akin to that of the planet. The Eve eventually chooses one singular power to control via the element (though the planet is subject to no such restrictions). Subsequent generations are also privy to this power, though the element concentration in the blood is gradually diluted and the powers of the children fade until they are mere myth." |

Loved the big reveal and the info pages. I had specualted for sometime that Willow was Earthsong's Eve, but so many forumites had convincing theories.

@ Lady Yeats
I have read all that I can find about Eves in your comic but I have not found the answer to my question: If Willow is Eve, where is Adam? Does she even need one? |

Is one of the Mandrags we're familiar with really Bel's eve? o_0 |

Gwen: I think Lady Yates is using the term 'Eve' is a representative sense, playing on the 'mother of all' undertones. The Eve is not really the mother of all other sentient life on the planet, and in fact, I think some of the Eves are male.
If you really and truly wanted to find a representative 'Adam', that role could probably be played by the planet itself - being that the Eve is created from the body of planet, and biblical Eve was created from the body of Adam. _________________ Self-styled Forum Grandmother, because I hand out nicknames and hugs whether you want them or not. ^_^

| Really? I was of the understanding that the Eve really is the mother of the whole race. =S |

"The first child created by a planet is called the 'Eve'. If the species is gendered, the Eve is always of the child bearing sex – typically female."
Just so you know.

If anyone we know is Bel's Eve I'd think Morgan. Her eyes are gray, just like his element, and her personality suits him.
"Such a lovely chill he puts in the air."
Now there is just the question of how a ghostly race like Morgan would wind up being reproduced anyway... She would have to be able to manipulate her environment somehow in order to build a society, raise children, etc. |

Without pointing out what it is in particular, ('cause I can't, or I would) you guys are starting to make some assumptions that are misreadings/extrapolations of what's been said in the comic or been said by me.
Just be careful you don't get yourselves all wound up over something of your own creation! _________________ Keeper of Nanashi's Vambraces and the Amethyst Trees.
