Heh, ok, Pocahontas totally fits. This is what it should've been after a few more years and the settlers had wiped out her people...
Tin: This is a very well known fact, and any animator worth their salary takes every shortcut they can get. Even in modern 3D animation. Anything to cut down on time and money can and will get used. You'd be flabbergasted at how much I've seen of this even across company lines... |

Actually, the bloody handprint was the part I liked least. It bugged me. The fingers are all spread out as if somebody had laid their hand against a flat surface. But her knee isn't flat; her bleeding victim would have to clutch the knee, which would leave a different shape hand print.
...
But then, I could be overthinking. -_-
