Is this a duplicate? I looked, but I didn't find anything. Or am I just blind?
Anyway, if YOU were in Willow's place, which side would you have chosen?
Skogul's. Skogul, Skogul. She seemed so friendly at first, besides... it WAS Earthsong's side that had killed someone. Skogul could have been written off as self defense. _________________ I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts... |

Willow's been in Haven for some time, I think we already know who she's chosen =P _________________ Keeper of Tristram's rings, and Felucca's very expressive ears. |

| Skogul's aggressiveness and violence, and Richard's attempt to squish a helpless Tengu, would have put me off. |

Hm. But you have to consider that they attacked from surprise. Besides, by the way they were acting, you could have understood that they probably bothered them a lot.
And, afterwards, when Richard was "killed", you would understand them being furious. Especially towards you.
But, alright, one for Earthsong, one for Bel. _________________ I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts... |

| I probably would have gone with Skogul in the Original, and with Nanashi in the Redux. =o |

I remember that as one of the only things I didn't like about the Redux: Skogul is too threatening. I want to be fooled into thinking the bad guys are good guys, especially in this case, where the bad guys aren't neccessarily bad themselves. _________________ ...In accordance with the prophesy.

theBSDude: I KNOW! Besides, it makes her seem extremely one-dimensional. :/ If she really wants Willow on her team, she'd be kind, and probably bluff that they were terrible people trying to kill you. I'd fall for it, and be ready to chuck rocks at them. >_____>; _________________ I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts... |

The Skogul/Nanashi encounter was confusing in the original cause pretty much every character was a Mary Sue then. This time around they actually have personalities and they show. Skogul IS trying to be nice... but it's hard for her when she doesn't really mean it and/or is in a hurry.
Plus Nanashi's presence will always get her worked up.
So you may, of course, feel free not to like how it went down in the redux, but just know that there's a reason for it is all _________________ Keeper of Nanashi's Vambraces and the Amethyst Trees.

Oh, I like how it went. I'm just insane and love to think of these things.
See, if I was willow, it probably would be more like this:
--------
Me: Huh. That's a big bird. OH NO. IT'S LANDING. RUUUN. Wait, it's just a humanoid. A cool humanoid at that. Join you? Sure, what the heck.
*looks at Skogul's group, then Nanashi's* Yeah, I'll take the COOL group.
--------
Because I'm quite obviously insane. Still, though... Willow has her reasons for thinking her way, I'm just wondering which side people would choose if they were acting as Willow. A little roleplaying won't kill you.
Also... Lady Yates, why must you seem so godly when you post? >___> _________________ I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts... |

Heh.
I probably would have not been able to keep my sanity when the superpowered battle started. I'm imagining seizures on the ground. Or, I might have decided to help by throwing a stick at someone and gotten myself killed.
IF I managed to survive the battle, I would have definitely gone with the winners. The epic lightning/sidera-blast/heavenly beam of light would have played a major role in my decision-making. _________________ "Moral excellence comes about as a result of habit. Skogul has some very off putting moments in the redux.
I would just run from both of the psychopaths swinging swords around. There's nothing about Nanashi that seems to say, "Yeah, she's the kind of person I would potentionally trust my life with." And being told that Richard isn't really dead is just a little, omai. _________________ Talked to a man who caught the
