I figured that since I mention the various projects I'm working on, I might as well share the end results. Ergo, Lithy's (Artistic) Creations shall arise *evil laughter, thunder and lightning*
Let's kick things off with a few school and work projects:
For props class, a naginata:
The blade before painting-
Post-painting, from the tip of the blade-
The mostly-finished product with my school's giant rocking horse-
For work, a t-shirt design (which I loved so much that I made one for myself):
For Set & Costume class, Rose Mundy from Dancing at Lughnasa
Coming soon: nice things from/during drawing class, the oft mentioned corset and other sewing/design projects. ^___^ _________________ Lithrath=Lisa according to Asa, though I respond to Lithy as well

It's more sleeplessness and tenacity. ^_^
I'll post more things when I have the time (need to convert my King Ubu designs, scan the colour ones, and shoot my finished corset)
To tide you over, a portrait of one of my classmates in ink done during drawing class. _________________ Lithrath=Lisa according to Asa, though I respond to Lithy as well

1) LOVE the t-shirt. I want one myself!
2) Love the ink portrait. Your style reminds me somewhat of French/Eruopean art. _________________ Keeper of Zaebos' and Jormand's powers.

Thanks Mane.
1) I can send you the file if you can find a place to print it for you. I've booked this weekend off, but will have access to the file next weekend. ^__^
2) Ink has a tendency to produce this kind of style from me. Otherwise I'm very, very messy with shades of Zits or For Better or For Worse.

A costume I was commssioned to make: http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=2464533&id=48922935&l=2921266d11
It will be Kagamine Rin, one of the Vocaloid 02's. I'll continue adding to this as I finish more pieces.
And now you all know my real name...oh well... _________________ Lithrath=Lisa according to Asa, though I respond to Lithy as well

And I can't help but love flattery from the Forum grandmother
Finished the boots, leg warmers and sleevelets today; will be adding more to the album sometime in the near future.
In the meantime, the oft-mentioned corset!
Laid flat | Detail
It's very low-cut when worn (thank you Tudors...) but is surprisingly comfy.
Media: canvas, metal findings, silver thread, unbleached muslin, corsetting supplies. _________________ Lithrath=Lisa according to Asa, though I respond to Lithy as well

My favourite part is the spider; I made it 7 years ago at a day camp.
The counselors were a bit shocked to find out that I brought my own solder and iron. It was promptly confiscated until the end of the day. _________________ Lithrath=Lisa according to Asa, though I respond to Lithy as well

Well. Not what I was expecting, but very cool and very artistic none-the-less. I was expecting something more along the lines of that picture I sent you a while ago. I like the spider too. ^_^
Will it act like a regular corset, or is it not meant to create shape? _________________ Self-styled Forum Grandmother, because I hand out nicknames and hugs whether you want them or not. ^_^

The pic you sent me was more of a modified Victorian corset I believe, Tudors are conical.
It would create shape if I had extra flesh to shape; on some of my more greatly endowed classmates the Tudor corsets had a great effect. For me, it narrows the waist by 1" and creates a perfectly flat front rather than a mostly flat front. ^__^ _________________ Lithrath=Lisa according to Asa, though I respond to Lithy as well

No, I meant plain and undecorated. The spider, chain links and silver web threw me off a little. What costume is it for? _________________ Self-styled Forum Grandmother, because I hand out nicknames and hugs whether you want them or not. ^_^
