Ah...I misread your previous post.
This corset was merely a class excercise so I kind of got to do what I wanted with it. Admittedly it's more of an art piece then a costume piece since I've haven't determined exactly what sort of character would wear something like this (apart from myself or some odd Elizabethan witch...)
The other (2) corsets that I was working on this year were costume pieces. One was for my university's production of The Bewitched and the other was for a costume I built for someone (though that was more of a corset-shaped harness for a pair of wings...) Knowing me, I probably did not differentiate between them clearly when writing of them. ^^0 _________________ Lithrath=Lisa according to Asa, though I respond to Lithy as well

*sneaks in*
Just some costumes I've built over the past few years for cons.
BTW, I am loving the Star Trek shirt I picked up at teh Lady's booth this year's FanExpo.
Altair of Assassin's Creed mixed with Galen Marek of Force Unleashed. FanExpo 2010
Okazaki's Dream Doll of Clannad; The Movie. AnimeNorth 2008

Holo the Wise Wolf of Spice & Wolf. Debut AnimeNorth 2010, shot on Centre Island.
I made the red suit the fellow in the middle is wearing. Sadly we didn't have enough time to get a fitting in before this was taken; still need to take in the jacket methinks. He's cosplaying Miles Edgeworth from the Phoenix Wright games at Connecticon 2010.
Now to sneak away again...I just picked up a commission for a Harley Quinn costume and need to focus on that. _________________ Lithrath=Lisa according to Asa, though I respond to Lithy as well

Thanks Asa!
What's more awesome is frolicking around in them though. The doll and Holo are both me...lately I've been using the doll as a puppet-type costume for fun.
Essentially a friend "manipulates" me for some impromptu street performance; lots of fun.
The Holo costume has a fun skirt for spinning about in too.
Oct 20 Edit: Some WIP shots of the Harley costume. I wish I had had more time to work on it earlier this month since I'm going to have to say goodbye to my weekend now to finish this to my satisfaction.
