I have no problem starting a second WG myself in two weeks when I return from vacation, but if you'd like to start one yourself, Tenshi, that would be awesome.

I'd like that preference in the second WG be given to those that were unable to get into this one, but if there is space, I see no reason to limit you from participating in both.

This month's topic is:

SCRIPT

In other words, you must write a scene in script format. You may end up writing the next chapter of Earthsong, or you may create a new play a la Shakespeare! It's up to you.

Remember that in script format, there is generally not a lot of description. There may be a few paragraphs at the very beginning describing the scenery/set/stage, but once the dialog starts, there is very little. There may be entrances and exeunts noted, sometimes lighting and movement, but it is generally kept to a minimum. Most everything that you want to express should be conveyed though speech.

Some tips? Try to have each character have their own little quirks of speech. Perhaps a southern belle is talking to a Canadian businessman; there may be a lot of Sugahs and Eh?s.

To throw you for a loop, I'll ask that all scripts somehow involve animal crackers.

You can either specify the format or the subject matter. I just happened to do both here because 'scripts' is such a broad topic. Generally, it is one or the other.
