Okay, it's been mentioned, but I'd like to put some more emphasis on it.
www.xkcd.com
The author calls it "A webcomic of romance, sarcasm, math and language", and it has all those and more. It's primarily a geek comic, with plenty of jokes that are difficult to understand, but lots of the comics can be understood and enjoyed by everyone. Even my mom likes it, and she's not a geek nor does she read any other webcomics.
The art is stick figures, but Randall does more with them than you'd expect. But beware, there's quite a bit of language and "your mom" jokes. (but good ones!) All in all, it's one of my favorite webcomics (Earthsong still rules. ) and I highly recommend it. |

I just discovered Darken and spent two days catching up with the archives.
Um, not sure what to mark this as, it's fairly violent but there are no gory scenes, so consider this your warning. _________________ Britland as dubbed by AsA

Let's check my favorites list...
Earthsong
XKCD - simultaneously the funniest and most heartwarming comic out there
Phoenix Requiem
Megatokyo
Ctrl-Alt-Del - comic is okay, but I admit it's one of those things where you only check IT every day rather than any other comic, because you're already up to date on this one
QuestionableContent - Same as CAD
Awkward Zombie - it's basically VGCats, but with a more nintendo focus, and it's actually entertaining (VGC has decayed beyond recognition over the years IMO, nothing but vulgarity and zero update schedule)
Sugar Bits - Made by an awesome artist with a tendency to change projects with annoying frequency. But it's sweet to look at, and several of his older comics (mostly doujin of cartoons, Invader Zim, Billy and Mandy, Powerpuff) make the source material look more interesting than I would have ever imagined.
Perry Bible Fellowship - And then there's PBF. View at your own risk. Twisted twisted humor.
And a bunch of others which I no longer check regularly. |

I probably judged pretty hard, as far a violence and sex, but I may have missed a few Language markers.
Anyway, few of these have only a few pages, but most have an archive of at least a year. _________________ ...In accordance with the prophesy.

May I recommend Looking for Group?
By Blind Ferret, it has everything you'd expect to find in an action-adventure game plus a bit of mindless destruction by a warlock with a baby-craving. _________________ Lithrath=Lisa according to Asa, though I respond to Lithy as well

Whoa, Thebs. You actually have several in that list that we haven't read.

ha.
A word of warning about one of the comics to my list- SoldOut. Not a warning about the comic itself, but about the site. The site-owners are currently battling a spambot infestation. The affected message boards are text only, but the ads are pretty nasty. Just quickly scoll to the bottom of the page and turn off reader comments. _________________ ...In accordance with the prophesy.

| theBSDude wrote: | | Um, not "Thebs." It's "the BS." | Yez may have an official AsAian nickname - and indeed AsA may mandate those as the only nickname one may have - but by crackey that won't stop us. If an object or person appears to need a nickname - or indeed an extra nickname - then one they get.
It's at least partly a throwback to our highschool days when most everyone and a fair chunk of everything had some kind of odd nickname... when 90% of your school is a Ben, a Tom or a James, it's that or surnames. And calling each other by your surnames is for posh Eton *ahem*s.
You didn't need to know that, but there you go.
The TL;DR version: We'm damn well going to call you "Thebs" if the mood strikes. This is not personal.
Edit: Oh, wait, you weren't pushing your Dub, you were thinking we'd misread. Well, this was not the case.
| TheBritishInvasion wrote: | | I think "Thebes" would be a cool nickname for you. | That did come to minds too, but "Thebs" rolls off the tongue more entertainingly... _________________ You can't look dignified when you're having fun.
