Yes!! *raises hands in victory* I'm not the youngest one here! (please take no offense from that 'dais.) Ever since I was little, I was shunned by people my own age, leaving me to find friendship in others. The young were just TOO young, so- my best buddies were older. I guess I get along with 20+, too. . . .

And for all you wrinkled octogenarians out their who already don't know- I'm not yet 16. Lovely, Isn't it?

I had age up and downs. When I was 14, a professor thought I was in college, then when I went to High school, people there often told me that I look younger than I usually am. Now I'm not sure, I think I look my age, but I havent asked anyone.

Still 27 for a few more months. When I was younger, say 13-14, people always thought I was 18 or older. A bad haircut and huge glasses will do that to you Wink

My looks have stayed the same since I hit my twenties though. Hopefully I inherited my parents genetics and I'll look the same at 50 as I do at 30.

Do you think it's bad luck to be born ten minutes to midnight on Halloween? My twin thinks so.

Ha. I'm the older one. Ha ha I say.

Seniority rocks.

And by the by, I'm always mistaken as some 17 yr old pixie. It is endlessly irritating!! In real life, I'm a whopping 5'5'', and my stupid bro is 5'8''!! Confused

Yah got four inches on me Ponce.

I think my height (or lack there of) is one reason for people to mistake my age.

Another reason being that I don't wear makeup.

When people online ask me how old I am, I usually answer 63. I'm not sure why, I just did it randomly once, and it became habit.

Throughout my childhood, I wished and pretended that I was an adult. As soon as I became an adult, I prided myself by it. I still treasure it. In my mind, I've been an adult for a long time. (My behavior says otherwise, but that's just for other people, right? ^_^)

Squee is 3, and is sticking to that answer. XD

But, in all honesty, Squee has long ago learned that age doesn't matter online, at all, hence the lack of telling people Squee's real age. Not to brag, but when Squee was 12, Squee was running online game where people though Squee was in college. Squee has since lost maturity Embarassed Yet, too often online, there are people in their 30s, 40s, and beyond who act like 13-year olds (y'all know the type). Squee thinks the internet is a great place for people to try knew social interactions, including being a different age than they are. Even if that age group is younger XD

I'm with Squee and the others who've said that age doesn't really matter online. When you strip away all the physical indicators (size, voice pitch, presence or absence of acne, etc) all that's really left is your personality. So participating in a social group isn't limited so much by age. Which is kinda cool.

For what it's worth, I'm nearly-but-not-quite 29. But I only feel like an adult intermittently, usually over silly things. You know you're an adult when you have to buy your own bath mat. ^_^;

When you have to wake yourself up in the morning Sad

I've always got on well with people older than me, and at uni there's 15 students all of different ages, so it's a pretty good thing!

Btw, that's 15 students in all years. Only one course ya see Wink
It's really a good thing we all get on ^_^

Let's see, ninet--no, wait, it's been... and since the... carry the one... uh... twenty.
When the unholy turnips did that happen?

And my age is a matter of philosophy... we tend to think of it as being about a year and a half, though.

You joke about the math Tyris but...The other day Squee's mom asked how old Squee was. So, that was the first sign of trouble, one's own mother not knowing how old you are...And then...Squee had to pause, figure out what year it was, and do the math Shocked

And yes Tin, you're way past adult now that you've bought a bath mat...You're an old geezer! See, bath mats are so you don't slip and break your hip and all that jazz... Wink
