@ Asa - kinda. It's a sketch in that I didn't try to make a polished piece of artwork out of it, but it's still a finished piece all the same ^_^

@ Squee - As somebody who only recently escaped peer critiquing, I am not in the remotest bit offended by Squee's assessment of this drawing. It is vague and incomplete, lacking in any definable theme, mood or motive on the part of the artist. As a piece of art in itself, it's lack of any decisive elements makes it at best a practice sketch, at worst a boring drawing with practically nothing to draw a viewer's interest beyond the sheer bland ambiguity of it.

Yes, as a piece of art, this fails. As a visual aide for testing how people's perceptions affect their imaginations, I'd say that the number of interesting and unique interpretations people have replied with makes it a success. 'Course, I still think I could have made a more effective one (that also succeeded as art as well as in its primary purpose), but what kind of artist would I be if I didn't always want to improve?
