i am an instant satisfaction kinda person, this having to wait for new pages stinks (boohoo) ok this rant may be partly inspired by the fact that i am on day 16 or so of quitting smoking while in afghanistan... how smart is that? anyway anyone got a time machine to loan me so i can see the rest of comic )

I guess they mean it when they say patience is a virtue, eh? I've gotten used to waiting for webcomic pages now, but it still would be nice to borrow someone's time machine to see the rest of the comic.
And also, I think this belongs in this forum here. I'd wait for a mod to say so though. They might move it if so. _________________ Yo.

Good luck on giving up smoking! I know how hard it is, I went through it twice. The second time I had constant chills and occasional convulsions! It is worth it though, so best of luck to you. And I agree, a time machine would be totally cool... but all the wrong people would use it for eeevil! Good luck with the quitting smoking! _________________ . Dubbed "Usagi" by AsA .

Honestly, I'm bothered by our generation's need for instant gratification. I like waiting. It builds up anticipation, which is often as fun as the thing itself.
Of course, too much waiting isn't fun, but the Lady updates often enough to keep me happy. ^_^ |

I'm a huge fan of "the most difficult trials make the reward all the more sweet". A perfect example of this would be one time a friend of mine and I spent eight hours trying to assemble and work a grill. Eight hours after starting because we were hungry, we finally charred our first pair of hamburgers.
Best. Hamburgers. Ever.
Probably had as much to do with being so hungry as it did with working so hard.
Also, poodle me, I went waaaaay off topic there. _________________ . Dubbed "Usagi" by AsA .

Instant gratification is nice some times. . . I hate it when my interwebs is Epicly slow and I need to wait 5 minutes just to load google.
But other times Waiting is great It gives you time to imagine what ti'll be like, *Proceeds to repeatwhat tam and Tenshi said*
and there you have it. _________________ They died x_x I'm a bad father ;-;

I dunno, I think general discussion is a good enough place for this.
And part of the way to avoid web-comic withdrawal is to build up a large collection of them, so that no matter what day of the week it is, at least a FEW of them will have new pages. _________________ Keeper of The Remnant Minuon (cognomen Lucy, the Eaten One) and the Emissary Caeli |

Ah, but that's wasting time. The best way to deal with comic lulls is to do other things, like homework. >.> _________________ Self-styled Forum Grandmother, because I hand out nicknames and hugs whether you want them or not. ^_^

She's on to something, you know -- the best way to procrastinate is by doing other work that needs doing and is more attractive than the work you're trying to avoid. That way at least you get something done. _________________ Keeper of The Remnant Minuon (cognomen Lucy, the Eaten One) and the Emissary Caeli |

Exactly!
Which is why I'm studying for an exam and catching up on homework at the same time. We'll leave aside the Earthsong activity... >.> _________________ Self-styled Forum Grandmother, because I hand out nicknames and hugs whether you want them or not. ^_^

Homework is my weakness...I usually am a pretty patient person. No wait, scratch that- I was a pretty patient person. Well I still kind of am but now that I use the internet more often than I should, I can't sit on one thing as much as I used to.
But as far as an impatient person goes...I'm pretty patient. I just have to get my nose out of the computer more often I guess.
As far as the comic goes, I know that Lady is updating regularly so I can trust that the next page is coming no matter how long the wait is. In that case, I don't mind waiting. It does bothers me when someone just suddenly gives up their comic, especially if I liked it. _________________ Yo.
