Tara grabbed the shirt, waistcoat, and pants, slightly relieved that she was on the second team - even though it sounded like the harder job - at least she'd be able to pretend better, she knew nothing about technology. She had hardly spoken with anyone on her team, and that made her more than a bit nervous. But they all seemed like no-nonsense people and good to have around on a first mission.
She went to her room to change, ignoring the surfer dude standing outside the door of the Situation room - she assumed he was Ben. After she dressed, she hid her dagger under her shirt, held securely in place by her bra and stuck two small crosses in her socks, where they were hidden by the trouser leg. She sighed as she looked at her scuffed sneakers, they didn't fit the outfit very well. She wondered if anyone would even notice. She crossed to the mirror, studying the disguise. It needed something. She quickly pinned her hair up, letting a few tendrils fall around her face to complete the effect - she might as well look as professional as possible. It was about all she could do - though she had an uneasy feeling that she was underarmed. She grabbed two bottles of holy water to take with her and disguise as drinking water. They'd be under the cart most of the time anyways. That done, she headed back to the situation room, reaching up to knock on the lentil of her door as she walked out. She began to hum the funeral march rather loudly as she went down the stairs.

Anna quietly picked up her clothes and went to her room to change. The discussion had left her cranky, and she had some pre-mission jitters that she wanted to calm down before they took off. She was a little jealous of how easily Jae Kim and Jaze accepted the situation. How could they joke around at these times? She was always a bundle of nerves inside.

Subtlety. That was the name of the game tonight. No faces to smash or bones to break. Well, specifically anyhow. Jim was rather excited, actually. His first James Bond moment. He wanted to ask if he could bring a change of clothes for when he wanted to get out of his disguise, but the truth was, his uniform wouldn't be much different from what he would normally wear anyhow. He felt like he should bring his tuxedo though, just in case.

Sighing, Jim grabbed his green t-shirt from the box, as well as his cap. He headed back to his room to find a coordinating pair of working khakis and tennis shoes, and pulled them on with little effort. He thought about the weather, and how hot it might be and the necessity of Carhartts in a case like this, but he wasn't sure what they'd be up against yet. Better to bring something nigh indestructible like these than just a pair of shorts and end up having to do something ridiculous like run through black-berry bushes. Which, by itself, was an unlikely outcome... but he thought it still pleasant to be prepared.

Either way though, he was ready to go at a moments notice now. He headed back to the briefing room to wait. This first mission was just about to start, and he didn't really know where his directions were going to come from. He found a chair and waited.

He pulled his cap on backwards, and checked looking in the direction of the monitor, to see if Ellie was still watching things.

Niamh grabbed her disguise and headed out the door. She saw Ben and winked at him as she skipped down the hall to the lab. She figured it was the closer then her room and had all her gear anyways.

Niamh shut the door changed quickly, and grabbed her gear. She, attached her knife to her leg under her trousers, just to be safe, and then grabbed the rest of her kit (small hip pack containing the globes of holy water, the trap making supplies etc), bow and arrows.

Niamh jogged back down the hall and stood outside the door next to Ben. She put out her hand and said, "Heyo, I'm Niamh, can't remember if we've met, but i'm assuming you're Ben and thus our driver for this evening."

Carl headed to his room to get himself trussed up in the waiter's outfit. Waistcoats carried with them the distinctive air of someone middle class trying to appear cultured to Carl, which was perhaps why people at post parties liked forcing the help into them. Still it wasn't too tight and he could always ditch it when the fighting started.
Grabbing his sword off its hooks on the wall he could always conceal it in the cattering trolleys when they got there, he headed down to wait outside the sit-room for the rest of the team.

When Jim returned to the Situation Room, he would be able to see that Ellie was between snacking on a sandwich and chatting to someone in the background – the second person wouldn’t be too visible, but they would be dressed in medical scrubs. They must be another team member of her chapter. The chat would end quickly however, and Ellie would turn round to face him and smile inanely once she realised the room was occupied once more. Jim could chat to her quickly before he left if he wished, since her other teammate was no longer occupying her attention.

“Hey there!”

~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Ben would appear to be slightly put out by Diarmuid’s lack of customary jokes and innuendo, but he returned Barrett’s wave energetically and would be pleasant enough towards Niamh and any who approached him.

“I think we might have met a while ago, on a supply run maybe? It’s been a while anyways,” he agreed, shaking hands. “So like, who am I truckin’ about tonight? Garrick said he needed a driver, so I was totally up for that… I’mma gonna take you dudes and dudettes to the Sisters of Mercy once we got us some lapdogs. Hey, like, where’s the rest of ‘em? They’re pretty shy, ain’t they? I need to load them up in the truck…”

Ben would start to load up Team 2 fairly shortly…

~ ~ ~ ~ ~

“Uh… We’re not expecting anything to go down before we upload the doo-hickey Garrick gave us, so it’s best you keep the gun in the case unless you wanna wear baggy trousers and hide it in your socks.”

After her quick mission fashion consult with Jaze, Jae Kim went with the crowd this time and darted back up to her room to get changed. She was only going to pull her t-shirt on over what she was already wearing, but she hadn’t sorted out what gear she’d be able to fit in a lap top bag.

Searching through her usual mission pack, she fished out the rosary and stuck that on under the shirt. Hopefully that would keep her neck safe if the lights went out. She had space to store a holy water and at least two or three stakes in the bag, if she hid them in side pockets but there was still a bit of computer-like equipment already stored… Darn, but this was going to be a pain to heave up, what six floors? She slipped in the bo staff as well, since it telescoped to a much more inconspicuous size – if people only glanced it would like some kind of small metal carry case; kind of.

As for her flick-knife… well she was leaving behind most of her stakes, so she sure as heck couldn’t leave that behind. Since her jeans seemed to have a pocket on the right leg to the side of the knee and were a bit on the baggy side from there down, she slipped it into the pocket and buttoned it down. Wasn’t perfection, but the knife was the right size to stay hidden for now. It’d do the trick.

She stuck her cap on the right way round, and tugged it down quite low on her face and hauled her bag for the mission down stairs. But no-one from her team seemed to be there yet… Hmmm. She waved idly to Ben and Niamh.

“Hey Jaze, Anna, where you at? Let’s go!”

"Okay," Jaze said, taking a tight shirt snatching the hat off his head and running upstairs. He changed into his nicest jeans (it was dark wash, and only had a few holes) and threw on a white undershirt and the shirt over it. He put on the hat and looked at himself in the mirror, grimacing. He looked like a little Maoist. Oh well. He sprayed some cologne on, then went about packing his bag. He strapped his ruby-studded knife under his pants where it would be easily accessible; it was also hidden well by the cuff.

He looked at the laptop case. He grabbed a case of holy waters (6 vials), two boxes of ammunition, a case of stakes, and his gun. The silencer actually worked on this one; he remembered the last fiasco where he had bought a cheap silencer. It hadn't gone well. In light of that, he had bought the best on the market...leaving him without much money, as usual. He closed the case and shook it, happy to know that everything was snug and nothing rattled.

Jaze heard Jae calling downstairs. He grabbed his case and came bounding down the stairs, grinning.

"You ready?" he asked those already gathered.

Jim peered up shyly as Ellie greeted him.

"Hey there to you too," he said.

After a pause that was just long enough to be awkward, he turned. "Ready for the mission?"

He looked away, trying to hide a tinge of rose in his cheeks.

Anna changed and transferred her equipment to the laptop bag. Since everything and her laptop usually fit into her bookbag, this was not difficult. Her crossbow was small enough that it only made her bag look a little bulky. She stuck her ponytail through the back of her hat and took off down the stairs. "Ready," she announced when she got to the rest of the group.

Dia would have to leave his usual gear at home - there was no way he'd get away with carrying around a big, ceremonial mace in in disguise. Instead, he borrowed a blessed knife from the armoury, and loaded up his normal complement of stakes and holy water syringes. Suitably attired, he headed back downstairs to give Ben a proper greeting.

Tara wandered over to where Niamh and Ben were chatting idly and stood slightly behind and to the right of Niamh, listening to the conversation. She glanced over her shoulder as Dia came up, but otherwise remained silent. She was going to have to get over her jitters before everyone marked her as shy, but not just yet.

Barret saw others starting to gather in the hall, and, hoping to draw the crowd out to the vehicles so they could start loading up, wandered out into the glow of imminent sunset outside. He turned back to look inside when he reached the vans, trying to stay out of direct sight of anyone on the street. The disguise would make sense at the mission, but out here in the docks it was just asking for trouble. He hung his satchel off his shoulder and squinted out towards the city, watching the shadows of buildings crawl out towards the Anima compound and the men and women in it.

((OOC: Tinu, isn't your character called Tara not Ana?))

Niamh nodded at Ben, "I thought as much but with the number of people in the organization i figured it was worth the reintro."

Niamh felt Tara come up a little behind and beside her and at Ben's comment she took a step back and looped her arm around Tara, "Well Ben, let me introduce you to Tara here. She's new but has some mad sneaking skillz. Oh and you totally don't want to take her on in a knife throwing contest. She rocks."

Niamh grinned down at Tara and then winked, she knew she was being annoying but didn't care. She figured it would make it easier for Tara to relax if Niamh was being a wee bit goofey.

((yes she is, my bad. XD))

Tara started at the sudden introduction and friendliness, but then smiled. She appreciated the gesture. "Yeah, but no one can beat you with a bow." She nudged Niahm and ducked out from under the encircling arm. "So, shouldn't we get this suicide mission started?"

Carl laughed grimly at Tara's joke, "No hurry, it’s sort of difficult to fail a suicide mission. Just roll a one on your next bluff check."
