Hi, and welcome to the home of the rabid fan-girls. I'm not quite rabid, but I am a fan-girl.
This, however, is besides the point.
This is where we can continue our discussion about the new and improved *personal opinion* Trissy after his screen-time has come to a brief or (gaspeth) possibley permanent halt. Because he's just the type of character who would die. *personal opinion again*
We can also continue to annoy teh Lady and various newbies ( ) by fondly yabbering about how much we loathed/loved the old one, how the new one compares to the old one, etc., so on, and so forth.
So, without further blahdeeblah, come forth with your opinions, fan-girlisms, or perhaps even intelligent insights. Especially the latter. Because with me, it will be in short supply.
I, for one, love the new version. Long live the bad boys. _________________ "Miguel, you know that little voice that tells you when to quit while you're ahead? You don't have one."

I've never been rabid, but my sister could teach any fan girl a thing or two, as she was the original claimer of Tristram himself.
I gotta say, I'm actually digging the personality changes. It's like he bought a spine offa e-bay or something. _________________ If you're reading this, you haven't quite made it to the next post. |

I feel myself squealing every time I look at him. Right now I think I prefer the old Trissy, but I'm giving this Trissy a chance, I think I'll like him a lot more once he's had a speaking part in a few more pages.
And once he stops acting like a jerk. _________________ Britland as dubbed by AsA

We're guessing he'll seem like much less of a jerk once Neuria turns up - if only by comparison. _________________ You can't look dignified when you're having fun.

I think he'll let his guard down once he starts talking about his remanant (I'm assuming he is going to do that). _________________ Britland as dubbed by AsA

| I agree, I think this is his defensive exterior. We'll see the real Tristram soon enough. |

There'll be a lovely angsty scene where his sensitive side just can't help shining through *sigh*

I love the fact that dear Trissy asks Willow to "spare him the melodrama", because we all know that he probably has had his fair share of it and doesn't have room on his plate for anyone else's melodrama. Least of all Willow's.

I agree with some of those above, he does seem to have a few more layers of complexity to him than has met our eyes yet... I wasn't around to see the old Tristan, so I can't give any opinions on that. But I definitely do like him.
Does anyone else imagine his voice being very similar to Rupert Everett's? |

I think I'm going to have to agree with Britland on both accounts...
I still miss ole' Trissy....
@Laerayn: I could see him with that voice...
But that's not the voice I imagine him with, if you understand what I mean...
I imagine him with more of a Matthew MacFadyen voice...

O.o That comment about Rupert Everett, for some random reason, made me imagine him with David Bowie's voice. That's disturbing.
Probably because of what Ravenna was saying on the Page Discussion thread.
Hrmm, everybody seems to hear Trissy with a Brittish accent. _________________ "Miguel, you know that little voice that tells you when to quit while you're ahead? You don't have one."

That's because us brits are amazing
Definitely prefer sarky trissy to the old version, and even then I actually liked the old him too. Tristrams more manly reincarnation however, absolutely smacks down the old one - Congrats to the lady for making him a more layered character! |

This topic right here was the reason I joined the forum. I just have one thing to say.
Hooray for the non-emo vampire!
Actually, I lied about only saying one thing. I can't imagine Tristan with an English accent, eh... except for the puffy-shirt. It kinda screams 16th Century nobleman. Anyway, this new Tristan seems like he'd have the laziest American accent imaginable. Personally, I'm thinking Eastern Washington (my accent). Check out the guy from Spokane at accent.gmu.edu and tell me if you agree.
