Here we go! Lyrics and video in the first link, but they're really confusing there, so in the second link are properly formatted lyrics.

PARODY OF "PEOPLE WILL SAY WE'RE IN LOVE" from Oklahoma

Students:
Why do you sigh whenever we fly in through your door?

Teacher:
Why do the students gossip all day on ev'ry floor?

Students:
We have a way to fix this, our way is proven true
Here is the gist
A practical list of notes for you

Don't arrive late to class
Don't wait for us to still
You know that we never will
Then we will listen to you

Teacher:
Me? Late?

Students:
You must be kind to us
Be firm but never yell
Now then, doesn't that sound swell
Maybe we'll listen to you

Don't leave too early now
Give us your time after class
Teacher, you are doing well
Soon we will listen to you!

Teacher:
Some people claim that you are to blame as much as I
Why do you act like you have the facts and ignore mine
Carrying books and studious looks won't fly with me
Just keep a slice of all the advice you give so free

Don't snap your gum so much
Don't mess around with me
Don't laugh with your friendly three
Students, now you must try too

Don't turn your work in late
Don't make excuses here
Don't say what I want to hear
Try it you might be surprised

Don't give up you if you miss
Don't fall asleep at your desk
Students if you do all this
then we can work something out!

Well, I rather enjoyed it. I think it's because I'm currently planning on graduating with a Masters in Education, but yeah... I thought it was very funny, and true..

I enjoyed it, but I think that that was mainly because I just finished doing Oklahoma a couple of months ago. And I know some teachers who I could give this to, a hur.

Mine'll be up in the next couple of days :3

So does this mean we don't like it for itself, and only for the tune I used?

yesterday at the bus stop I started a new one, called "Some Day My Bus Will Come"...

I like it, but the fact that I know the song is an added bonus XD Although minus points for getting it stuck in my head.

You could try this to get it out again...

The bad news: I'm afraid I'll have to chicken out on this WG. Sad

I'm just no good with rhymes.

It doesn't even need to rhyme. Smile Rhyming's a plus, but not necessarily mandatory. There are a great many songs that don't rhyme at all--and you can even turn a rhyming song into a non-rhyming! Smile

Seems to me that if I got it stuck in your head that's good! Now you can take it to your teachers and get an up on your grade for amusing them. ^_^

If people are dropping out because of time restraints, I can totally do an extension. (Really, my previous answer to the time constraint was more tongue-in-cheek than anything.) Would a week (or possibly two since I didn't give you a month, but I'd much rather it just be one week) help?
