I believe you ought to be able to go

=SUM(A1:A158)

Wherein A is the letter of the column you're interested in

Yes, but that's one column at a time. Granted, with some repetitive clicking I could get through each column rapidly. Do you, or does anyone, know a way to do multiple columns at once? "Columns A through XX, sum each column." That kind of thing.

Enter the formula as given above and copy the cell. (Not the formula.)

In the name box where it highlights the cell you've selected enter the range of the cells you want to fill the formula with - like B2:G2 or whatever - then paste. It ought, IIRC, to update the formula to reflect the cells above the relevant column automatically.

Failing that grab the lower right corner of the cells and drag them out and it should clone them properly.

Nem, the click and drag was exactly what I was looking for. Thank you!

Does anyone know anything about sculpting clay?

Specfically I'd like to know if you paint something before or after it's fired and how long it would take to fire a life sized sculpture of man.

It's for a book.

Painting is done after first firing, but before glazing and second firing (which only occurs if you are glazing). That's about the extent of my pottery knowledge.

As for firing a life sized sculpture, I do not have personal experience to that end, and Google is failing me. :<

Edit: Did not realise I partially posted on the wrong thread. D:

It's after firing.

And I think that would probably take quite a while, and would depend on if it was hollow, or made entirely of clay.

I know some people who do sculpting, so I will ask them approximately how long that could be.
