I'm want to say 'you get what you pay for' in French. Does this sound alright to anyone who knows French?
'on reçoit ce que vous payez' ( I know the 'on' actually means 'one' does blah but that is intentional, being a french mannerism.) |

your pronouns need to agree, for one thing. If you use 'on' to start with (which is fine, that's how the French often say a non-specific 'you'), you need to use on later in the sentence. SO: 'on recoit ce qu'on achete' (lit. you get what you buy, and needs some accents added).
But i suspect that it's not a phrase which translates directly. Sayings like that tend not to. There's probably an appropriate local dialect saying which is nothing like our one.
Something like 'c'est moins cher, donc il aura une qualite mauvaise' carries much the same meaning. _________________ Keeper of Tristram's rings, and Felucca's very expressive ears. |

"On" could also mean we.
"Vous recevez que vous achetez (tu reçoit ce que to achète)" would work too. But that in itself doesn't convey the saying very well because are pretty much saying "you receive what you buy" and that's not specific enough in this case.
"Tu reçoit le qualité de l'object dont tu as acheté" Literally translating to "You receive the quality of what you buy\pay for" but that might still be not exactly it. The grammar might be a little off too.
Man I wish my french wasn't so rusty so I could be of more help.
How about, "Le qualité d'un objet dépends sur montant qu'on désire à dépenser sur le" The quality of an object depends on the amount of money you wish to spend on it. If someone could replace "sur le" with the right words to describe it, that would be better. Kinda sounds corney though -_-; but it's the best I can do right now _________________ Yo.

So I know it's ridiculous that I'm a senior and can't do this, and I'm fairly certain I've asked this before, but . . . can someone please teach me how to factor? With variables? Please? _________________ Keeper of Gaia and all the books on Earthsong

I'd be able to help you really well if we were talking in person, but I'm not sure how to do so online.
That said, do you have an example of the type of problem? _________________ ...In accordance with the prophesy.

When it comes to math, the left and right hemispheres of my brain don't tend to communicate. If you can give a number problem, I'll help you with it. To denote exponents (superscript), I use ^#. So two to the power of seven would be 2^7. Fractions are 2/3, 1/3 and so forth. Give a problem and I'll help walk you through the entire thing as best I can. _________________ . I can also help with the factoring, its the one thing I'm good at. You mentioned variables, so I'm assuming polynomial Factoring, is that right? Or it becomes real easy If you are factoring quadratics. _________________ Dubbed Marcus by Asa

| I'll add my voice to those saying they'll be glad to help, but would like to see a problem first. Preferably one of the harder ones. ^_^ |

I'd pull an example out of my book, but it's in my locker, and knowing me, if I tried to make it up it wouldn't be able to be factored. ><;

Doesn't really matter. If you post an example that can't be factored, we can either show why it can't be factored or modify it so that it can. ^_^ The important thing is to see what you're dealing with. |

My turn for a question.
I'm writing an essay about the Roman constitution and I've got a problem with some dates, really all I need to know is when did Polybius write the histories? I can't seem to find a date in my textbooks and it's just a little bit crucial to my essay. _________________ Britland as dubbed by AsA
