XD Oh. My. Gosh. That's hilarious! I love Twilight, though the conversations my friends and I have on it go something like this:
"You know, Stephanie Meyer isn't really that great of an author."
"Yep."
"And the characters have no redeeming qualities."
"Yep"
"And the only reason we ever get for Bella being madly in love with Edward is that he's hot."
"Yep"
"And there are so many plot holes!"
"Yep"
"So why do we love it!?!?!?!"
"I've no clue."
"ARG!"
One hopless romantic, exiting the conversation. =3 |
lol! I feel ashamed that I'll probably be at the local bookstore at midnight to get Breaking Dawn. _________________ Fall down seven times, get up eight. --Japanese Proverb

Rav, it's the content that weirded me out too, for Watchmen. Not as far as being content, but the fact that in order to make a movie out of the story, they're going to have to do some huge editing even to get it to R, you know? _________________ If you're reading this, you haven't quite made it to the next post. |

I just saw The Dark Knight.
Now I'm trying to find the words.
*Deep breath* Where to begin.
First off, if Heath Ledger's name had not been in the credits you would not know he was in it, the Joker was just that fantastic.
I agree with the Lady that they could have pinned the murders on someone/anyone else.
I loved the scene on the ferries and the ethical debates it raised. (In my mind at least)
All I can think of for now, I'll probably come back at some point and add more.
Oh and no-one in the theatre laughed at the pencil scene. _________________ Britland as dubbed by AsA

Everyone laughed at the pencil scene (including my brother) - and at several more inappropriate points.
And while the murder's could have been pinned on anyone else, I think that's what makes batman good - he's willing to play the scapegoat. _________________ Keeper of Gaia and all the books on Earthsong
