We went bowling today and chose to use names from Lord of the Rings for fun. I chose Tinuviel (Gee, I wonder why that's familiar), and the screen abbreviated it as TIN. =)

There was a little girl at the pool named Willow today. Her sister started squaking and her friend started doing faux-martial arts moves and they began fighting. (Nanashi and Skogul much?) Willow didn't want to play with them, but she was backed into the corner of the pool and couldn't get away.

Naturally I thought of Vi for Skogul, then my mind wandered to Rav, the Lady, and Tam.

I thought of Tam and Asa earlier because my dad spent supper entertaining us with tales from his first trip to Israel. Kids, don't ever go swimming in the Dead Sea in your jeans if you don't have a change of clothes.
