So... here we are again.
Most of you already know the rules, but let's reiterate, shall we?
~ If you're the first person to post about a page, include the DATE, in Month/Date format (please spell out the month - we hates all number dates, yes, we do, precious)
~ Try to keep it on topic
And I think that's it... |

Nanashi demonstrates her super-smell again!
| Nanashi wrote: | | It was Willow who was wearing it... but... *sniff*... I can smell that vampire on it too. And he really needs a shower! |
I wonder why Nanashi wants Felucca to be quiet? If they attract attention, maybe Tristram will come back?
The art that stands out on this page, to me, is Nanashi's hair. You've gotten much better with it, Lady...the highlighting is more subtle than it used to be, yet very effective. Felucca's face in the third panel is quite good, too - she looks so worried. Oh, and since I didn't get a chance to say so before, the fire in the last page is awesome. |

| Even in the redux I don't quite get the super sense of smell, if it's not a soulstone power why does she have the nose of a bloodhound? Still I find it amusing. And yeah, that fire effect is super-awesome, it's not the typical fire effect you would expect but it looks warm glowy and pretty. |

FIYAH!!!! Foompf. Yeah, I'm a pyro. Any fire is cool fire, especially the Zaebos fire. What filters did you use to get that? _________________ The universe is really interesting. It's also screwed up, but that's what makes it so interesting.

The sense of smell + a very bad mood = Nanashi...
The expression on her face is very convincing, she looks like she has something personal against 'that vampire' _________________ Dubbed Cube by Asa

I think of Nanashi's "super bloodhound abilities" more of as a learned skill. I don't have the world's most sensitive nose, but I've met people who can tell you every ingredient that went into a recipe just by smelling it.
As for the fire, that was just good ol' fashioned brushwork - no filters. I find that the more I try to use "tricks" to do my effects, the less effective they look.
I recommend this tutorial for elemental fx
Thanks for all the comments guys! |

I don't know about you all, but the fact that we're like 2 pages away from Tristram's lair has been driving me nuts! It's been like a clifthanger for the last few weeks. _________________

Wow. I always use a combo of filters and brushing, but mainly filters until I got access to a tablet recently. Must try! _________________ The universe is really interesting. It's also screwed up, but that's what makes it so interesting.

Best view of Nans eyes EVAH!
Its an interesting look with Fel and her ears, did they always reflect her mood? I honestly dont recall.
Edit - I need to adjust my screen or my eyes or something. Deleted my previous comments on Willows eyes... _________________ If it's not on fire, it's a software problem

As far as i remember, they were much less mobile in the original version. They've been very expressive throughout the redux, and i've liked the concept the whole way =D _________________ Keeper of Tristram's rings, and Felucca's very expressive ears. |

Sleeping Willow= <3. And Nanashi's eyes, so fiery and intimidating. That does not look like Trissy's home in the original, does she not wake up in the Phantoms' Lair this time?
/Edit, and I didn't realise there was an update yet, I didn't click the current page link because it was the same thumnail. (Yeah, I'm just that lazy)
My only criticism is in the last panel, Willow's neck looks a little too long.
And is it wrong that even though I've spent almost 1000 pounds getting to Canada I'm seriously considering spending another 150 on a flight from Halifax to Toronto to go to the Paradise Comic Con for the sole purpose of meeting teh Lady....Yeah...that sounds a lilttle crazy. _________________ Britland as dubbed by AsA
