Err, insofar as a dragon can be said to "be" anyone's. They're like cats that way, only big enough to eat you and ask for more.

IN which case, humans belong to their cats, cats don't belong to their humans. So I suppose technically the forum is the dragon's--he certainly has no qualms eating anything that annoys it.

Okay now, I'm pretty sure Roderick in the Today thread and Gabriel in the Welcome thread are from the same bot. A somewhat coherent one-liner with a smiley at the end, and a Canadian link in the sig? Unless one or the other comes raging in to defend himself, I'm going to assume they're bots.

I'm suddenly stuck wondering what would happen if we could isolate a few of these bots on a forum on their own. Would they interact, left alone? What would they say? Would they respond to one another, learning and growing as they went? Would, eventually, they achieve robot sentience?

Yeah, probably not.

The CaptainBoyz quoting Bering brought up poignant senses of nostalgia and guilt, though.
