Perhaps settling for "place visited by man extremely infrequently" ...? |
Well, I saw it from a boat--and it's impossible to get to but by boat, and pretty much impossible to hike in, too, so I think I'm safe on that one. I was thinking more a long the lines of someplace with no roads, houses, or civilization for miles--somewhere where trees had never been cut down, and people had never done anything more than walked through. Point taken, though. _________________ Keeper of Gaia and all the books on Earthsong

Maybe "undeveloped by man"? There's quite a few over here, but they tend to be a little damp underfoot, hence their wilderness status
I've achieved a couple of my goals already; live in Scotland, learn to SCUBA dive, and a couple more I've taken off the list (swimming with dolphins isn't such a thing anymore. Sharks would be cool though, and interesting!)
The aurora seems to be a popular one, and I'd like to live in a foreign country and learn another language fluently. Hopefully I'll achieve all these three by going to Norway next year ^_^ _________________ He who does not eat cheese will go mad. ~ French proverb.
