the name of Willow's species

i realized that since Willow is the EVE of a new species, they need a name

i vote for meloidia

melōidía (from Greek, melody "singing, chanting")

Hmm, good point. Though it may be a bit premature to name the species when there's only one of them.

I think her species name should be "Willow."

I vote for "Plantae Angiospermata Eudicotum Rosida Eurosida Malpighiales Salicaceae Salix Caprisalix Daphnoideae Salix acutifolia".

AKA, the Long Leafed Violet Willow.

You could name them the Pu-doru clan. It's the Japanese word for poodle. Poor poodle, cut down in it's prime. T_T
I'm thinking of Japanese names due to Nanashi's naming job.

Yanagi = Willow

Hoshiko = star child (although I guess this applies to Nanashi more than Willow.)

Haruki = springtime tree (obvious)
Hoshi = star
Kaede = maple (in honor of the original willowish trees Very Happy

)
Ko = child
Maiko = dancing child
Masuyo = benefit the world
Rie = valued blessing
Takara = treasure
Wakusei = planet
Yukiko = rare child

Could mix and match some of these like planet and child which I think would be Wakuseiko, meh. I've been awake too long and all of these probably suck so I need to go to bed. Please forgive my sleepy ramblings.
