This thread is twofold for me.
First fold is to share my art with you guys and hopefully get the kind of thoughtful feedback you guys are so good at. ^_^ And with that hope in mind, here's my latest piece!

The second fold is an attempt to pick your brains, as I am doing a series right now that I'd love a little help with. The series is called Famous Corgis in History, and what I need is ideas on what corgis to do. Here's what I've done so far!
George Woofington
Betsy Ruff
Napoleon Corgiparte
Corgie Antoinette
Queen VicCorgia
Sir Winston Furchill
I'm planning on making a calendar, so to keep it cohesive I'm also trying to stick to non-current World Leaders and National Figures.
Some ideas for people (and some with possible corgi names included):
Benjamin Franklin - Benjamin Furklin
Pocahontas
Abraham Lincoln
Theodore Roosevelt
Clara Barton - Clara Barkton
Amelia Earhart
Martin Luther King, Jr.
Rosa Parks - Rosa Barks
Gaius Julius Caesar - Gaius Corgius Caesar
Alexander the Great
Fidel Castro - Fido Castro
Ho Chih Minh - Ho Chih Mutt
Josef Stalin
Mahatma Gandhi
Mao Zedong - Mao Zedog
Mikhail Gorbachev - Mikhail Corgichev
Vladimir Lenin
Eva Peron
Hannibal of Carthage
Genghis Khan - Corgis Khan
Marco Polo
Leif Ericsson
Christopher Columbus
Joan of Arc - Joan of Bark _________________ I do commissions!

First of all, love the dogs and I like the ideas you have for future portraits.
Secondly, I like how your first portrait is a mix of realistic art and fantasy features. Have you ever read War of the Winds? That reminds me of one of their characters. It also reminds me of the comic Undertow. Ring any bells? _________________ Self-styled Forum Grandmother, because I hand out nicknames and hugs whether you want them or not. ^_^

I haven't heard of either of them actually, sorry. The woman is a character belonging to someone else on dA, who asked me to do a trade, so I can't take credit for her design, either.
I'm glad you like them, though! :D _________________ I do commissions!
