Okay, can people answer a few questions for me? First, I was looking at the fanart and I saw some people had drawn a romantic theme between Willow and Tristram. When was that part of the story? Second, when and where can I send in fanart? And thirdly, what in the world is Revelations? Obviously, I'm new here and from reading previous comments, I came to realize that teh Lady (as everyone seems to call her) has redone the entire comic. So I want to know, basically, did I miss anything important? Or am I just going to have to be good and wait patiently for the storyline to continue as it is? Crying or Very sad

P.S. This is my first forum, so if I'm doing something wrong, please tell me.

To answer your questions: The romantic scene between Willow and Tristram hasn't happened (yet). It's just speculation at the moment.

The instructions to send fanart to teh Lady are on this page.

And finally Revelations is the chapter that comes after Lament, many of us have read the original (which isn't online at the moment) so we know what is going to happen, and have a bad habit of blurting it out on the forum. (Don't worry, the original only goes up to Revelations so you won't get any end spoliers)

It was never explicit, but the willow/tristram pairing is one of the favourite fan pairings. Mainly (IMHO) because tristram is one of only two male characters introduced so far, and the only one (zae has a plot-explicit crush on k'thonya) who is romantically unattached.

Revelations is the name of the current chapter (as opposed to the current Redux chapter - the story is currently being re-told from first principles, and we were a little way into the Revelations chapter before the reduxing process began), and can be seen in the archives.

You missed the original version of the comic - the detail and structure of the story changed quite a lot, and the art style has greatly improved, but the basics remain the same. As TBI mentioned, the original was online, and the original archive (the link to which was provided in the print version of the comic, and if posted here, will be modded out) has recently been removed (pending alterations to the site's templates to bring the old pages in line with the new design). I'm not sure if it will return.

You're fine, apart from this post belonging in the Plot section. Where it is.

The Lady is actually redoing everything--so while the basic plot may or may not be the same, the characters and their personalities are wildly different. So no, you're not missing anything by not having read the original. Smile

Yes, and we're getting pretty close to the point we reached before Lady got her publishing contract and decided she really had to redraw everything to publishable standards. Willow and Tristram have a long-ish conversation to do, and then we start hitting new material. Yay!

Okay........seriously, the romeo & juliet part made me practically roll on the floor with insane laughter. Ahhhh.....remembering 9th grade English class.....we did romeo and juliet.

(the only reason i actually remember something that far back is because of my teacher from HELL ---- Mrs. Longinott. shivers. And keep in mind- i have a TERRIBLE memory. As in, can't remember breakfast, memory.)

Anyway, if Richard hadn't been sent home, would he be a contender??

Well...that was...interesting. I'm thinking a Ulkurz/Willow pairing is a no go. Unless Lady Yates get's really desperate for a plot line (heaven forbid). Hmmm. I wonder.....
