Saw all the beautiful homes in my neighborhood on such a gorgeous day, and thought of Usa and photography.

Yesterday while browsing in a tourist trap I saw a postcard of a sea otter holding its head in its paws and yawning. It was Naiad's avatar.
I know a lot of people here now won't remember her, but I still do.
I wonder what happened to her?
I wish her every happiness, wherever she is.

I thought you (possibly it was another forumite) got a message from her younger sister, and she had been in a crash but was doing physical therapy for ages, so she didn't have time for the forum anymore? this was ages ago though.

This is from the short period in which Naiad returned to the forum:

It was in a PM to me, hopefully she'll forgive me for sharing it with people who care about her. In any case, she seemed to be okay, and was back in school and on the forum. Then she disappeared again, and I never heard from her since. |

It's... kind of disconcerting to think of all the people who have been a part of the forum, and then just - disappeared. Always before I just thought, oh, that person must have moved on with his/her life, but now? Now I worry. I hope all the people who have left over the years have reached a good place in their personal journeys, even though we're not there to share it with them.

Things like the above is why I started posting on this forum. Haven't seen its equivalent in many other fourms. Just thought I'd share some fuzzy.
