Notice the poll choices are worded so that you cannot pick "kittens" while pretending to misunderstand that we meant "baby rabbits," or any similar foolery. _________________ You can't look dignified when you're having fun.

Cat person. I like dogs okay, but I'm not fond of getting slobbered on. _________________ Keeper of The Remnant Minuon (cognomen Lucy, the Eaten One) and the Emissary Caeli |

Definitely cat person. Their apathetic disdain for me me is far preferable to a dog's mindless devotion. _________________ ...In accordance with the prophesy.

Dogs all the way. Cats just don't do it for me. If I want to be ignored and looked down upon, I'll go hangout with some teenagers, thanks. _________________ Keeper of Nanashi's Vambraces and the Amethyst Trees.

I'm a cat person, as long as it's someone else's cat. As far as personally I've only ever owned dogs. _________________ Dubbed Marcus by Asa

Cats all the way. I've actually never had either a cat or a dog, but cats make me work for their affection. And I have to admire that. _________________ "Moral excellence comes about as a result of habit. We become just by doing just acts, temperate by doing temperate acts, brave by doing brave acts."

I love cats.
The majority of cats I know are only disdainful when slighted - they rest of the time they're just plain needy. One of my cats, Sam, is a pathetic failure of a cat. He wags his tail and can't jump. It's so adorably pathetic.
Hehehe. So, yeah, cats. they're fluffy. Also, dogs slobber and smell terrible. _________________ Keeper of Gaia and all the books on Earthsong

We didn't ask about cats and dogs!
We asked about kittens and puppies!

'From the dog's point of view, his master is an elongated and abnormally cunning dog.' - Mabel Louise Robinson
XD
Seriously though: Dogs. As a human you're never as aware as your dog; they've got the most incredible noses, their eyes pick out motion better than you, they can hear much better than you. Some of them grow to human-threatening sizes too.
And if you're to take their characters aren't they, by and large, man perfected? They fight for honour without restraint, protect their territory, love their family, take pleasure in the simplest of things. I can think of worse role models for someone to have than a dog.
You take care of it and it'll take care of you.
Edit: Well, yes they are difficult to divorce. The main reason I'd get either would be because it was going to turn into it's adult form. _________________ Never forget,

In the kittens versus puppies debate, puppies win, because of the time honoured 'sad puppy-face'.

Dogs all the way. It's not that I don't like cats, because I do. Kittens are adorable, but mostly because they're bumbling about like innocent, naive future killers. Dogs bumble about like naive, innocent little balls of LURVE!
And also, all the things Nem said about dogs.
I've had cats perch on my shoulder like a pirate's familiar, and that was so far beyond awesome I can't explain it in words. Unfortunately, I soon found out that I'm slightly allergic to cat hair near my eyes.
So, dogs all the way. _________________ . Dubbed "Usagi" by AsA .
