No, I meant all of it together in one group. One curl. _________________ Self-styled Forum Grandmother, because I hand out nicknames and hugs whether you want them or not. ^_^

One... giant... curl?
No, that's never happened. It forms pretty easily into bunches of a couple of thousand, though. _________________ You can't look dignified when you're having fun.

Yeah, Ponce, clearly you broke an arm to avoid a hair appointment...
But hey! Your long hair thanks you.

Hmm... I've sometimes trained my curls into larger curls, but I've never tried to see if I could get it all into one giant curl... then again, it's not been long enough to do that with in years. Seeing as my 'bangs' are chin length and the rest is below my shoulders. heh _________________ Dub = Merlin!

My hair curls a little on the sideburns, and gets wavy if it gets really long. I just have naturally wavy hair when it grows out.
My hair needs to be cut.
I'm going to cut it short. _________________ :: I'm six foot four, an all-American guy, and handsome and talented as well! ::

My hair doesnt curl unless I do a bun or twist it repeatly. Its always wavy after it dries and for that reason is why I almost never blow dry. Blow drying also add statics and some frizz which is annoying. |

On a note completely unrelated to curling, but very much related to hair, I believe Mane was complaining about natural or chlorinated bleaching?
I've heard that massaging in tomato ketchup to the damaged area when conditioning works wonders on this. Whether or not it's actually true is another thing, as I've never had occasion to test for myself, but I've been told that it works well. |

Ketchup, huh? Wow, I've never heard that before...
My hair is naturally wavy too, but I think after long battles with it, it's becoming straighter. _________________ Fall down seven times, get up eight. --Japanese Proverb

Neva!

My hair is evil. It's fine normally, but when it gets long, it curls uncontrollably and makes a huge mess. I alternate between looking like Wolverine (but only on one side), and having several rooster tails that completely refuse to lie down. Large amounts of gel are the only way to keep it in line, and I despise gel with a passion. So I try to keep my hair short. _________________ Mors Certa, Vita Incerta.

My hair used to be very straight when I was younger, but at some point it developed a natural curl to it if I left it to dry naturally. My new hair cut means it tends to curl and wave a lot at the bottom, but certainly not into one single curl.
On the products front, I've started using Tsubaki by Shiseido, which is quite nice, but I think I'll change to Herbal Essences once I've finished this bottle. The range looks nice here. |

Herbal Essences was okay, but it doesn't work very well for really thick hair, as I dicovered first hand.

I just got a load cut off my hair (about 7 inches, 17 cms for all you metrics out there) and it's still down to my shoulder blades! My hair is thick and poker straight, which means I can't do anything with it except tie it back in various ways. my hair air-dries into frizzy corkscrews in the summer - too bad they're gone once I brush my hair though. I also have this permanently wavy section near my temple. just one small area. It annoys the crap out of me because it doesn't like to stay in a pony tail, and my hair at the moment is too frizzy/blah to remain down
and alli, I wouldn't be too disappointed, you can't do much with curls except leave them down. _________________ Keeper of Gaia and all the books on Earthsong

I'm sure I'd hate it if I actually had curly hair, but yesterday my friend made it curly! For one night in my life I had hair that went "sproing"! _________________ He who does not eat cheese will go mad. ~ French proverb.
