in the U.S. in this coming oct, in NC....
East coast at least, unless you really wanna make a useless trek across mts. or oceans.....
I mean, this is simply for intrest, nothing solid...
maybe not...?
This is really just to see if people are are willing/this is plausible....

I don't think so... nothing so violent a reaction as your poll allows, so I'm not voting - but I'm not really interested in flying halfway across the country for a weekend I'd by default miss half of anyway. Also, I'm still leery of meeting folks from online...

I wouldn't mind meeting people who are in the Midwest/Great Lakes area--sorry, but I can't really travel all the way to the East Coast.

You're probably best off working out who's interested here, and then making specific arrangements by PM. There's no specific problem that I can see other than logistics, as long as you meet up somewhere public - I know we all know each other here, but you should always play things safe when meeting internet people. I know that a few ES people have met up IRL when they happened to wind up living in the same city.

nd obviously, I won't be coming. Location issues.

Part of the problem is that very few forumites live on the east coast. I think you, Tenshi and I might be the only ones - at least that I'm aware of.

Besides, Spegg, are your parents willing to host a forum get together? ^^;

Actually, I did do a meet up a few years back with Fealean when I heard that she moved from Scotland to a city less than 2 hours away from where I was living at the time. We've been friends ever since!
Strangely enough, even if we had never met up in the real world, we would currently still be living within a block of each other - Fea just moved onto my street (completely independent of the fact that I live there).
