Possibly? I don't know what I meant, actually. _________________ Self-styled Forum Grandmother, because I hand out nicknames and hugs whether you want them or not. ^_^

Female seahorses lay their eggs inside the male, who then carries the eggs to term and bears the young.
Which raises some REALLY DISTURBING thoughts about Jormand's coming onto Willow like that... |

John Barrowman, perhaps? He has a similar chin and can play a very good promiscuous hunk.

Sorry about the necro, I was just reading through this thread and got an idea of who could play Richard (though he was in the comic for but a short time before Nanashi dispatched him). >_<
Either way, I think Shawn Reaves could be a good fit for him. He played the irresponsible younger brother in the show Tru Calling that starred Eliza Dushku.

Nah, Richard would have to be a short-lived cameo either from the guy who Richard was originally based off (one of Lady's work colleagues who wanted to be featured in the comic. Never a good idea ), or an actor who really wanted to come on board. Or maybe Sean Bean, it seems to be his destiny to die in EVERY movie he's in, after all...
That guy's way too young and skinny to be Richard. He might work as Ulkurz. Or Tengu, if it weren't for being a bloke... _________________ Keeper of Tristram's rings, and Felucca's very expressive ears. |

He certainly looks very much like the "boy Tengu" teh Lady drew a while ago, right down to the pointed chin.
As for cross-casting him, as a theatre person, I fully support that idea. it's always interesting to see how the performance changes when you change the stakes for your actors.

Well, I know that Earthsong is really really old BUT she is one of the younger planets so someone younger probably wouldn't be a bad thing. I know plenty of young mothers who are very caring and motherly. Alicia Keys is really the only choice for K'thonya. To find a Nanashi start browsing through Japanese horror or action films, you'll find one. To me Dakota Fanning is perfect for Tengu.
She can do serious.
Jason Issacs looks awesome. I think he'd be good as Bel.
He does the villian well.
Emmy Rossum looks like she'd be a good Willow
Elizabeth Reaser has great eyes and I think has the motherly quality that could work with Earthsong.
Just a few I picked from browsing around. Lemme know what you think. _________________ Keeper of Earthsong's and Gaia's manifest stone.
