Strangely, that was one of my very favorite elements to that film. It's the sort of movie you either love or heat, I suppose.
Don't get me wrong though, I positively adore the first version. For me, they're more or less different movies entirely, practically not even the same story. I just like them each for what they are.
And back to Alice, I have a feeling I'll be the same way. It will come across, for me, as probably something so different I can enjoy it as a new story. _________________ If you're reading this, you haven't quite made it to the next post. |

So excited for this. Sweeney Todd was a movie I really, really loved. Alice in Wonderland was a great book, and even though Tim Burton is going to do crazy things to the concept of Alice in Wonderland I'm still thrilled.
