Oh, this is very ungood. The cavalry didn't arrive in time, Willow's been infected and is in tremendous pain, and it's a week until we find out what happens next. My nerves!

I must admit that the first thing that popped into my head after viewing this page was that this was pretty solid evidence why sniffing in powders is a bad idea. In the A BAD IDEATM kind of way.
Now I am fidgety with anticipation as well as over-caffeination. 
I think I will stare at the textures used for Bel's "skin" and "dust" for a while now; they fascinate me.

The dust looks like it could be coming out of her nose, but if she's being infected then isn't something going in?
Actually this does pose the question: Does a person become infected by Beluosus putting his dusty stamp on them or by Beluosus taking a bit of their essence from them?
Essentially, is being infected an innie or an outtie?

My suspicion would be both - he puts a bit of his element in with them in order to have something in them to control, and takes a bit of theirs in exchange in order to have it for reference/location purposes. IYSWIM.

It's an "in" only. I suppose that illustration isn't quite as clear as I hoped... but meh! It really isn't worth another panel to show the progress of the infection (especially 'cause I don't feel like going back and doing it! ^_^)
