I'm a complete newbie to all things RPG, but this game sounds like fun.

-blinkblink- start as in, start GMing? That was... much quicker than I was expecting XD.
I'll need a couple days to throw something together. And, ehehe, this'll be my first time ever GMing so be gentle _________________ I do commissions!

I've changed my mind, I'll definitely be participating. I owe Sunny a few headaches in the roleplaying world. ;P _________________ . Dubbed "Usagi" by AsA .

Well there was such enthusiasm that I figure we'll get enough players pretty quick. Take your time, there's no rush. Except the baying mob at your door _________________ He who does not eat cheese will go mad. ~ French proverb.

There isn't one yet, Sunny is working on it feverishly as we speak. Like a squirrel. A feverish squirrel. One that needs to go to the doctor. See the poorly squirrel.
Psst! Quick Sunny, while they're all in paroxyms of cute! _________________ He who does not eat cheese will go mad. ~ French proverb.

This week has been so crazy hectic I've barely had time to sit down and plan out a scenario, sorry guys. I should definitely have the character list and description up by the weekend though, I promise!
It's going to be a 1940's scientific expedition (think Indiana Jones). I just have to figure out who's on the trip and where they're going, and I'll be good to go ^_^ _________________ I do commissions!

Okay! Sorry for the double post but, thanks to Tenshi being the wonderful insomniac he is, I managed to work out all the details for the game!
(I think this is where I post it, but if I'm wrong somebody just let me know and we'll get it moved to the proper place.)
Setting: The year is 1943, and as the nations of the world fight for supremacy and survival, an eclectic group of people have been summoned a remote location in the eastern region of (modern day) Nigeria. The camp they arrive at is small but well provisioned, with two large tents centrally located for male and female sleeping quarters, another large tent for a mess hall, and several smaller, tertiary tents for food storage, armory, first aid, and a rudimentary laboratory. It is staffed by a dozen or so men hired from the local village 50 miles west of camp. About half a mile to the south is a sprawling jungle leading up to mountains that curve up eastward far off in the distance. Everything else is savanna and rolling hills as far as the eye can see. Already in residence is the Expedition Leader, Local Guide, and Doctor.
The information docket sent to each team member several weeks prior gives a general outline of the trip, which has been formed with the intent of finding and cataloging the lost city of Kef, holy mecca of an extinct civilization and, as legends have it, resting place of a mystical power strong enough to level entire cities in one blow.
Characters:
*Expedition Leader - Tenshi
Local Guide: Noelle Barnes, 32. South African - Sunny
Anthropological Expert 1 -
Anthropological Expert 2 -
Linguistics Expert -
Doctor: Jane Harper, 34. English - Caste
*Lt. Colonel -
Demolitions Officer: Officer Edward Colson-Kean, 79. American Marcus
Security Officer 1 -
Security Officer 2 -
Ensign Rookie -
Please include a very brief bio with your reply post, ie name, age, gender and which Allied Nation they're from. Any other character details you can work out with me in PMs.
*These characters will be important for progressing the plot, so be prepared if you choose them to have me feeding you actions now and then.
Once we have at least 5 people total, I'll send out the PMs with everybody's "information docket" and post the intro ^_^ _________________ I do commissions!

Dibs on Expedition Leader! Or MacGuyver, but Sunny's the only one who'll get that. Whichever she prefers I have for her manipulation as plot device. _________________ . Dubbed "Usagi" by AsA .

OK, can I be the Doctor? (Well, not THE Doctor, obviously. We are time-travelling back to 1943, but not in a TARDIS.)
My character:
Jane Harper, aged 34. English.

Demolitions Expert, Edward Colson-Keene, reporting for duty!
Age 39
Nationality: American
*Edit...I have corrected his age, pushing 80 is a bit much. _________________ Dubbed Marcus by Asa

Awesome, welcome aboard guys! We'll give everyone a couple of days to check in, just to make sure all who want to play can get a chance.
Also, Tenshi... make me a rich eccentric, if you'd be so kind ^_^
Also also, Caste & Marcus... could you PM me with how you envision your character? if you've thought up a ton of detail already, super, but just a paragraph blurb ought to be enough for me to work with _________________ I do commissions!

I'll be one of the Anthropological Experts.
Bernard "Bern" Thompson, 34, Italian American
I'll need a bit more free time than I have right now to write the PM. I might not have it to you until tomorrow. _________________ ...In accordance with the prophesy.
