Let's get this started again! I'll take 5 people once more, and the topic will be somewhat stylistic. It'll be inspired by my photography.
I'll try to run the WG again, but it'll be based more off my own personal schedule than anything rigid.

Sounds interesting - what is this about?
Sorry, I'm a newbie. There's probably an original thread explaining everything, could you point me to it? Thanks. _________________ Outasync

You don't need to apologize for newbieness, we all went through it at some point. ^_^
| Maeniel, in some other thread, wrote: | | For those that don't know what the writer's group is, it's a group that meets every month. People sign up, then I'll give them a topic; once the topic is released, you'll have roughly one month to complete a short piece on that subject or in that style that is given. At the end, we vote on who we feel wrote the best while pertaining to the topic. |
I wish I had time for a WG right now, but if I join, I'll only disappoint. Good luck to all the participants, though! |

Woot! Looks like a good group with some new blood. I'll fill up the remaining spot if nobody signs up within 24 hours. _________________ Keeper of Zaebos' and Jormand's powers.

I would love to get involved, but given my current university schedule, like Tam, I don't think it's fair for me to sign up. If I have some free time, I might follow the assignment, but I doubt I'll get it done by the deadline. You can has place.
This group's topic is a Moment in Time.
I want you to capture just one moment in time where everything stands still for your character. Time may be flowing smoothly before and after, but I want time to stand still. Describe everything that's going on. I want it to be like a picture imprinted on your characters' mind---and then onto the readers' mind. Use vivid imagery!
This will be due March 21st. Questions? _________________ Keeper of Zaebos' and Jormand's powers.

*claps delightedly* Yay, description! I can do that. Ha, have to get back in the groove, though - I haven't done done hardly any original writing of my own. Mostly editing.

All I have to do is sit down and write. Well, and choose one of a myriad of possible events from my life. Or make one up. O_o
Will do this weekend prollaby. _________________ . Dubbed "Usagi" by AsA .

Just one: is there any word-limit?
Looking forward to my first WG challenge. Have ideas already, been jotting down notes. Just rough outlines. Does show?

No limit, though if it's more than a page or two long I personally suggest uploading it off site and linking to it. I've done it before, and it's no hardship.
Also, it doesn't have to be strictly prose unless Mane says so - a few of us have submitted poems in the past.
Also, no prize except the honor of winning, and the chance to thumb your nose at the rest of us. _________________ Self-styled Forum Grandmother, because I hand out nicknames and hugs whether you want them or not. ^_^
