Therein lies the difference between thriller (which I like) and horror (which I can't stand) -- the line between fear and disgust. [/offtopic]

So what's the UGLIEST decoration you have on your tree? Mine is an old tuperware lid that my husband decorated as a kid! lol... but the ugly decorations are the best cause they've got so much sentiment behind them XD _________________ Keeper of Nanashi's Vambraces and the Amethyst Trees.

I dont know about the ugliest... I suppose to an outsider, there are few ornaments that may appear ugly to them. We have those really old flower-like tinsel that you put on with big christmas light blubs. Most of them are dirty or crumpled or have lost colors, but we had them for so long it has so much memories in it. I think they're 25 years old.
Just thinking about it makes me remember people who used to be with us, like my grandparents.
They look like those from this link http://gingerbreadsnowflakes.com/node/16 but it was star with rounded edge. _________________ Keeper of Gwendowlyn's red hair.

I like all the decorations on our tree but everyone has a decoration the others don't like. Me and mum hate Cath's musical snowblobe, me and Cath hate mum's weird stick-like reindeer and mum and Cath hate my robin. _________________ Britland as dubbed by AsA

This is only my second Christmas in my flat so I've not had time to accumulate any truly awful decorations, but at home my mum has the angel she made when she was 7. It's very Blue Peter: Here's One I Made Earlier. _________________ He who does not eat cheese will go mad. ~ French proverb.

Alli, is it made from a washing up bottle or a cardboard tube from a roll of toilet paper?
And that brings to mind the truly hideous angel that my dad's wife bought for him one Christmas. He'd only ever put it on the tree when she came over. Of course now they live together but I think the angel got lost in the move. Or thrown out a window. _________________ Britland as dubbed by AsA

*emerges from the kitchen with a tea trolley of 3 medium cheesecakes (9" dia.). One is chocolate, one is raspberry-blackberry and the third is a plain New York-style. There are a variety of sauces on the lower deck*
*starts slicing the cakes*
It took a bit of hunting but I think the "ugliest" ornament on my tree is either this guy or this bear.
Both are fairly old, so I'm not holding their age against them, but they both creep me out a little. _________________ Lithrath=Lisa according to Asa, though I respond to Lithy as well

Well since I'm Jewish I don't have tree decorations. But when we were little we did have these window decals, and some felt wall hangings, and an electric menorah to put in front of the window. I'd say the ugliest was that menorah, because it was all bent and chipped and broken, half the lights didn't work, and it was sort of circumventing the actual law of the holiday. Sort of. Not really. More like the spirit of the law than the letter, but still. _________________ Self-styled Forum Grandmother, because I hand out nicknames and hugs whether you want them or not. ^_^

Things like that are the only ornaments my grandma has. Her tree's the same one my dad grew up with. I think she still uses the same tinsle. Wouldn't suprise me a bit. _________________ ...In accordance with the prophesy.

Well, my first x-mas with my own tree, so I like all the decorations. I just got them.
Still, my old tree with hand made tiny silly gifs is precious _________________ Tower to the Moon

CHEESECAKE! YUM! *takes three slices, one for her and two for her parents, which she sticks in the fridge for later*
*brings her apple pie out of the over where it's been warming up*
*makes up a treat bag of cheesecake, apple pie, cookies, a thermos of eggnog and one of mulled apple cider, and chases after Usa to give it to him* _________________ Self-styled Forum Grandmother, because I hand out nicknames and hugs whether you want them or not. ^_^
