When I'm on the web, I like to find stuff to do, but somehow it's always something time-wasting, not really productive. But fun!
I think my biggest time waster was gaiaonline, but started visiting the site less and less. I just lost interest I guess.
So, anyone want to discuss what they do unproductively, but fun (or not?) on the web?

I read forums and webcomics. I have a bad habit of wiking movies I haven't seen to find out what happens.
And TV Tropes just eats time. _________________ Britland as dubbed by AsA

Brits: I do that too (the wiking movies thing). Particularly horror movies. They make them sound so much more interesting.
I have no idea. I seem to just subsist, sometimes :O Creative things usually fill the gap pretty well, if I'm in the mood, TV Tropes is an eater of worlds, sometimes I have video games hanging around, then there's TV, and forums, and prowling the internet... _________________ Dubbed Pants by AsA, via the way of the electric pants. |

Panda, I wiki a lot of movies too, especially horror because I don't have the stomach to watch gory movies. In fact this morning I wikied Hostel and Hostel 2.
In a minute I'm going to log off and waste time by watching TV, I need to write my essay but I'm justifing it by eating my lunch. Can't write essays and eat lunch at the same time. _________________ Britland as dubbed by AsA

Oof, I'm so bad for wikipedia. Especially in highschool when I was used that site for research (bad idea). I'd look at everything except for what I was supposed to. I just generally try to avoid that site, except when I'm really curious about something and want to read up on quickly. I only recently heard of TVtropes so I never really quite looked at it yet.
I read webcomics, deviantart...and other stuff. Especially when I'm doing homework XD. I'm so bad for that. _________________ Yo.

My list would be the following:
Webcomics, video games, chat programs, forums (intelligent and not so), fan-subs

I should be more precise in my wording, clearly. <.<;
I watch fan-subs, I don't actually do the subbing. If I did, it'd be Japanese to English, and dependent upon what I found worthwhile at the time. Plus, wouldn't that count as doing something productive? o.o

I tend to procrastinate mostly on here. Or facebook. Or any one of the looooooong list of webcomics I read. _________________ He who does not eat cheese will go mad. ~ French proverb.

@ Brit: I get the feeling we might be related or something... O_o
@ Emms: TVTropes has Wiki's time-suckingness times infinity. INFINITY.
Reading is another one! I don't seem to do it so much any more, though... _________________ Dubbed Pants by AsA, via the way of the electric pants. |
