And I think we're viewing the entrance from an angle, which would the explain the apparent narrowness of it.

Wow, everything is so dead and creepy. Bel really needs to hire a decorator. (Do I smell an upcoming episode of Bel and ES on Trading Spaces?)

Bel just likes monochromatic colour schemes, fortunately for him, so does a dead forest Wink

Stupid backgrounds took forever. And yes, that crevice IS rather narrow - Skogul would definitely use a different entrance. However, I MAY have drawn it a little smaller than intended... but I wasn't about to redraw it when I realised such.

Also! I forgot Neuria's tattoos again. Grah.

This pages shows what I think one of the best things about earthsong: body language. Most of the webcomics I read when I was a bit younger put in way more text than they needed and filled more pages than necessary, and ES communicates everything the way people would actually communicate it.

Ah ha, at last we see what the badlands actually look like! I think this page is absolutely beautiful, your work on the backgrounds pays off ten fold! Thanks for an awesome update!
