I tried a pinker color and the whole thing just looked way too blaringly girly, and since I abhor how blatantly the bride always gets to hog all the attention and importance, I wanted to stay away from anything overtly feminine Razz

Gonna go back in and try a more yellowed brown, see if I can match it with the sand instead.

What about darkening up one of the blues in the sea, so that it's oversaturated, or close to black , or something?

If the sand tones don't work I'm trying blues next, and then greyscale. And if I still don't like any of those, I'm just gonna go with the danged pink
