It's not really time constraints for me - it's that I have no time.
I've got about five major writing project going on simultaneously right now, and they won't be over with until November. And I'm just a bit creatively drained, I haven't thought of anything at all that I could do. So I'm out for this one . . .

Mmmaybe. I don't know. I've got a veritable pile of homework that I stupidly procrastinated on and then final exams next week. Which I also need to study for ><

This is what I get for (a) not visiting the forum for a while. and (b) not coming to the writing section for even longer - I would have likd to join in on this one. If you still need a third entry, I can whip something up at short notice (Im stuck at home right now and very bored - this usually doesnt end well Wink

Gah!. Isnt it incredible how as soon as you want to be creative, your brains dribble out your ears. At any rate, I got stuck looking for something to use as a subject, so I picked what was right in front of me.
Subject matter and original version should both be fairly self-explanatory Smile

Once upon a midnight dreary, feeling oh so bored and weary,
O'er the exam I had been studying since what seemed like days of yore,
I gave up, went on the net, to some Earthsong goodness get,
as I hadnt had my fix yet, Im an addict to the core.
Hit the forums thence to lurk, postings a thing i planned to shirk
but now more tempted than before

Willow theories still abound, origin ideas going round
but the Lady wont expound, a secret we desire to explore.
Desperate for hints we seek, from lowest hole to highest peak
our efforts leave us feeling weak, but no closer than before
Tearfully we plead for guidance, but all we get is 'Evil silence'
Confounding us forevermore.

Spambots we find irritating, their mere existence aggravating
their numbers sadly aggregating - a situation to deplore.
Fighting back against the odds, are our mighty forum mods
raging forth like vengeful gods, forum defenders to the fore!
A call for patience if you will; it takes time to delete such swill
The spammers efforts such a bore

The forum has a brand new sheen, adding in a shade of green
Brand new looks both high and low (and aft and fore).
Sadly though there was a cost, all our old posts gone and lost
Gone into the ether, our first home we did adore
But put aside that tearful face, a forums the people, not the place
Only this and nothing more.

We check the comic everyday; this forum is our place to play
Coming here to have our say, debating all from art to lore
From Bel's dark past to Nanashi, what might Willow remnant be?
Furry tattoos and the wipple tree, all of this and plenty more
Our favourite comics going strong; will we ever lose Earthsong?
