This is along the same lines as Sunny's "Thought Experiment" and my "What are you wearing", in that it's an opportunity to see what you're like based on your answers to things that normally don't come up online.

Since I know there are some people here who either a) don't like winter or b) don't know exactly how this works, I'm going to lay it out for you.

The point here is to find something about winter that you like. Personally, I love the snow. That's the first thing. I also like ice skating, hot cider, my lovely snow boots, and a pensive, thoughtful sky. Maybe you like the fact that it's quiet, or that your annoying neighbor doesn't run his lawnmower at 6:00 in the morning anymore, whatever. What I DON'T want to hear is "I hate winter, there's nothing nice about it at all."

Find something, I dare you. That's the challenge - can you answer it?

1). The fact that it's so much easier to warm up when you're cold than to cool down when you're hot.
2). The streets are usually emptier in the cold.
3). Lines of sight are clearer through "naked" trees.
4). Picking droplet-sized icicles off overhangs.
5). Frost crunching underfoot.
6). A legitimate excuse to wear a jacket all the time.

-How the sky is so beautifully clear because of the cold - especially the stars. Winter is the time of year when they really twinkle.
-The noise shoes make on frosty grass or snow.
-Getting a piece of ice that's molded in the shape of a leaf and crunching into it.
-When it first starts snowing.
-The quiet way the sun comes up and goes down.
-Warming my hands and face on a nice, hot cup of tea.
-How comfortable a bed is when it has a lot of fluffy blankets.
-The way the cold air wakes you up and makes you feel alive - it's exhilarating.

I like winter! I learned long ago not to hate weather. That way I can find ways to enjoy seasons without getting angry about it being cold or whatnot.

There's nothing more refreshing than cold wind in the face. Or as relieving when you go into a warm room from being in the cold. I love watching it snow, making snowmen and shoveling. Shoveling and raking are my favorite yard chores. Of course there's always Christmas and the holiday week which I can't wait for now. And then when spring is around the corner, I like crunching the ice on the sides of roads, and ice puddles in the morning. Childish I know, but so what. I also like crunching leaves on the sidewalk, and pinecones too. I like the crunching sound they make. T

he falling snow is so beautiful to watch and especially when you go for a ride and you can see all the snows in the branches. I love the shades of greys and whites the snow makes. And the dark sky at night, and swirling snow...I could probably go on, but I have to leave the computer soon.

Winter is my favourite season. I think the best parts are walking in the cold, going into a warm house after being outside for a while, and catching snowflakes that are so fine you can make out their patterns.

I knew a lady once who had stucco ceilings that she had studded with the occasional rhinestone - it looked like a snowy ceiling and I loved it ^_^
