With NaNoWriMo fast approaching, I'll let this one be a month and a half long. If you writers feel the need to let loose some steam unrelated to your current novels, go ahead an post, even if you're not signed up! I'll also be taking suggestions as to whether you want this to be stylistic or subject-based. If you'd like to explore some new ways of writing that may help you in your novels at one point or another, choose stylistic. If you'd just like fun and silly, choose subject-based. If you don't care, I'll choose for you.

I always prefer subject-based, it's much easier for me. However, that may be a reason to make it stylistic - no pain, no gain, right? If it's easy, then you aren't improving your writing skills.

Don't lose hope, Tinu--people DO drop out, and spots open up.

Subject seems to be the vote, so we'll do that this time. (It works out nicely because now I don't have to change my rotation. XD Not that it would have really done anything to it if we had chosen differently...)

Our topic (in celebration of the new ESRPG and Halloween) is to create your own monster!

Basically what I want you to do is create a species (or take one from myth) and put them in a setting and have them interact. ESRPGers? (We really need a name for us... Maybe Guards?) Your work is already half-done if you choose to use your character. I'd like for you to write it as if you're on their homeworld, (you could even use their remnant for this topic!) but you can pretty much do whatever you want.

For those not in the ESRPG, (and even those that are,) you could even create a character and put them on modern Earth. (American werewolf in Paris?)

Questions/comments/concerns? You'll have until December 10th in case you're doing NaNoWriMo.
