Usually I'm not overly enamoured with new, popular music, but there's some awesome stuff out at the moment. MGMT, Keane (always a favourite), Vampire Holiday, The Hoosiers, The Killers. Most if not all of these are British bands so some of you must go and check them out on youtube ^_^

Silly Alli, The Killers are from vegas...
I only know that because of Pandora radio though.  It has band bios on each song's brief blurb. Pretty nifty stuff, really.

The Killers are from Vegas. You don't really hear them anymore around here, unless a radio station decides to bring back three-year nostalgia and play "Mr. Brightside".

That's what I like too, I'm more into energetic happy songs. I seriously think music affects my mood because if I'm listening to something sad, I'm sad.

I've listened to one of their cds, I found a really nice song that I liked that I really didn't expect to like. I forget what it was called, the cd, because I definitly liked it for a "today" type of cd.

I have a soft spot for British Bands XD. I guess I will check them out.
Anyhow, I have a pretty big range of tastes too, I think my music tastes are affected by my brother, because whatever he cd he buys, I usually like too. So here we go: Moody Blues, Simon and Garfunkel, Johnny Cash, Neil Young, Pink Floyd, of course Beatles, Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Ozzy Osbourne (not everything from him though. He has an awesome voice, but why does he have to be so scareeee?). I also like Hirasawa Susumu, after watching Paprika, my bro found more of his songs which I am hooked on. I also like wordless songs such as video game music or classical, and songs in languages I don't understand because I like just hearing the music. I find lyrics can be distracting.
I mostly like big epic songs. Songs that sound too mundane doesn't interest me. Like I said, I'm picky.
Oh yeah, remember Aqua? Or better yet...the Spice Girls? What do you consider them to be? I'd probably call them way too old...

Nah, bands like that are Old Skool. You gotta love them for the pure cheese they embody.
Thought The Killers might be yanks but I wasn't sure. Silly me

I've found both Aqua and early Spice Girls to be great soundtracks to clean to. They're just mindless and goofily upbeat enough to get me through the tediousness of bathroom maintenance

I love cleaning to music! It just takes the boringness out of it at least. My cleaning CD would have to be Sergeant Pepper...LHCB. Such a long name...

I listen to Soul music or Motown on occasion... They're pretty good to play around the house, because it's music that I like and that my parents like.
