So... just to get this out of the way... this isn't just my intro thread. It's also the discussion thread for the movie I'm doing. If you guys have any ideas, post 'em here. Once it's done, you'll also be the first to know. And mods: could you move this to the appropriate forum after the intro time limit's up? That'd be great.
So, I'm thinking of making a trailer. Like, movie trailer. It's going to be in 3d animation courtesy of Daz3D studio, and all I have to say is that it'll take a look at a side of Skogul we rarely see. And it might have some awesome Square-Enix FFVII: Advent Children-worthy action. If I can figure out how to use the program, which will take me about... a week.
Any ideas, comments, suggestions, etc.? Post 'em here. _________________ The universe is really interesting. It's also screwed up, but that's what makes it so interesting.

Well, The lady hasn't re-instated my mod status yet, but I might recommend the moving of this, as it seems a little off topic here, I think it's intros only in here
and in my opinion? That'd be absolutely awesome. I think some quick fight shots would be most fun, maybe an animation of the nan/skogul battle. But that seems like a HUGE project, doesn't it? _________________ If you're reading this, you haven't quite made it to the next post. |

Yes. Dear gawd yes.
Just a note though, I dislike films that are all violence and no plot, I don't see that happening here though. _________________ Britland as dubbed by AsA

I agree with Britty, but I don't think it'll happen to Stormy... _________________ Fall down seven times, get up eight. --Japanese Proverb

Ponce, you're willfully disobeying the rules and not using their proper dubs! THey're right there in the signature for easy remembrance, too!
Poodle, this is the animation, right? I can't wait to see it! _________________ Self-styled Forum Grandmother, because I hand out nicknames and hugs whether you want them or not. ^_^

I think it'll be great, though, I'm with Britland (happy Asa?) and Ponce in the 'don't make it only the action scenes' vote! _________________ Dubbed Cube by Asa

1. I'm a girl. I swear by Mithros. And I have read The Immortals by Tamora Pierce, and wholly support the N=D there, but that's off-topic...
2. It ain't all blood and guts. Let's just say that Skogul isn't the madman (madwoman? hm) that she's made out to be.
3. I'll see if I can get any Nan vs. Skogul action, but that'd violate the movie-trailerness of the vid.
4. This is a flippin' TRAILER. Since when have trailers had plots? (I may be wrong, mind you.)
5. If anyone has worked with Daz3D and has leftover human figure parameters, could ya zap them over? Plz? _________________ The universe is really interesting. It's also screwed up, but that's what makes it so interesting.

Answer to #4, it might be a trailer, but ES isn't based in action. Put some in, but have other key moments that don't simply have people lunging at each other. Willow's waking, ES's memories, all that happens in Haven, most of what we know of the story isn't action. _________________ Dubbed Cube by Asa
